Maximus' P.O.V:
"You useless piece of shit." Patrick uttered.
He punched me across the face for what felt like the millionth time. What am I even talking about? I couldn't feel anything at this point.
"S-Stop." We're the only words that flew out of my mouth, which was dripping out blood.
Patrick laughed manically. "As if."
He swung at me left and right. By the looks of it, my face was probably all swollen.
"I said STOP!" I shouted.
Patrick stopped. I felt relieved.
"What are you gonna do about it?" He snapped.
He punched me one last time.
"Hey. He's waking up." I heard a voice say.
I sat up on what seemed like a table, rubbing my head.
"What happened?" I groaned.
"You okay kid?" The same voice called.
I jerked my head up with fear, mainly because I already knew who was there.
"He's shaking again." Atticus said.
"D-Don't touch me." I spoke up.
"It's okay kid. We're here to help you-" Connor stopped taking
The door busted open. Jared walked inside along with Flynn, Finnegan, and Terrance.
"They're coming." Jared yelled.
"No." Atticus whispered.
"Yes they are!"
"What do we do?" I asked.
"Holy shit!" Pete shouted out.
Pete woke up shaking the cuffs that were on his hands like crazy. He started jerking and wheezing.
"Pete! Pete, stay with us buddy." Jared shouted out.
Atticus walked to Pete, injecting him with a serum. Pete yelled out in pain.
"Stop! You're hurting him!" I shouted.
Atticus pulled the needle out of Pete's neck. He turned back to me. "This is to help him! You want him to die or not?"
I remained silent.
"Good." He huffed. "Now, we need a stronger one for you." Atticus turned to Jared, "anything?"
Jared shook his head, "it's weird. It seems like it works on everyone else who had it. Jensen is good. Pete seems good right now. Maximus, just seems to be soaking up all the stuff from the serum."
"He only got it once when he was young." Connor said.
"Yea." I answered back.
They all wiped their bodies back to me. "How do you know?"
I rubbed my head. "I don't know. I've been getting these weird dreams-"
"That's a side effect." Jared answered.
"Yea. But, someone is always in them. Killing me."
"With the serum in your system, you can sense anger from others. It's probably that." Atticus said
"Who is it?" Terrance asked.
"My dad."
"Daniel?" Connor asked.
