Abigail's P.O.V:

"You sure Preston is alright?" Edgar asked as he grabbed my hand.

My father agreed to let me walk with him in the park near the hospital. He is most likely sneaking in the bushes watching me.

"He is, Edgar. He just fell off the stage during the dance while the shooting happened." I replied.

"And are you okay?"

"I'm fine."

He smiled as we continued walking around.

"I'm sorry." He said out of no where.

"Sorry? For what?"

"For leaving you when that all happened. My dad said for me to watch my sister. When all that happened, I didn't know what to do."

"It's okay. I had to take care of my family too."

We sat down at a nearby bench as I looked at Edgar.

"What?" He smiled.

"I never saw your parents before. When can I meet them?"

"Right now."

I felt a tap on my shoulder as I had fear in my eyes.

Connor Carter was standing before me with a smirk on his lips.

"Hello darling." He said.

Jared's P.O.V:

Everyone went to go see Preston and I was standing in the lobby with Gen.

"How are the boys?" I asked.

"They're fine." She replied.

"I hate this Gen."

"Hate what?"

"That were talking like if we are divorced."

"Are we divorced?"

"I will never leave you Gen." I walked up to her as I cupped her face in my hands. "I love you too much to leave."

"I love you too Jared."

We kissed as I saw something from the corner of my eye.

"Gen." I said as we separated.

"What?"

I pointed out the window as I saw Connor and Edgar with Abigail.

"Go." Gen pushed me away.

I ran as fast as I could out the yard as I pulled out my gun and pointed it to the distance.

I fired as Abigail dropped to the ground in fear.

I fired another bullet as it his the bench, sending Edgar to the ground.

"GET AWAY FROM HER!" I shouted.

Connor brought out a boomerang as he threw it.

I ducked as I heard it fly past my head.

"Gotta try better than that." I smirked.

Something hit the back of my head as Connor hovered me.

"Nice to see you again old friend."

That's when the dream came back. My son. Gen. The fire.

"Leave Connor. You already cause enough damage."

"Oh I have not yet. Still have to kill one more man. The one who killed my father."

"You are not going to kill me."
