Kagami frowned as she stared down at her school uniform. No matter how many times she looked at it, it was still ugly. Who was the idiot that decided that pale yellow was a good color for a girl's uniform? She really hated having to wear it every single day, but complaining about it wouldn't do her any good. Besides, even if she did manage to get a different uniform, every other girl at Ouran would still be wearing it. So Kagami resigned herself to the fact that for the next three years, that awful color of yellow would constantly be assaulting her eyes.

Just as Kagami was about to change into her hated uniform her phone went off. Since no one ever called her, the sound startled her. Wondering who could possibly be calling her this early in the morning, Kagami picked up her phone full of curiosity. But as soon as she saw the number on the screen the phone almost slipped from her hand. Father.

What did he want? If he was calling this early in the morning than it must be important. Kagami really, really didn't want to answer the phone. If it was her mother calling, she would have ignored it, but this was her father, and he would be extremely irritated if he had to call her a second time. So Kagami took a steadying breath and answered the phone, making sure to keep her voice completely steady.

"Hello father."

"Kagami." Hearing his smooth, hard voice always made her feel so small and insignificant. She hated it. "I have some things I need to discuss with you. I will be coming home for dinner at 5:30. Your mother will be there as well. Make sure you are there on time and are dressed appropriately."

"Yes father."

"Good. That is all."

"Yes father."

Once she hung up Kagami sat limply on her bed. Her father had something important to discuss with her and her mother was going to be there. This was not good. Usually when her father had something he wanted to talk to her about he summoned her to his office. If her mother was involved as well that could only mean that it was extremely serious and she most likely wouldn't like it.

Trying to think of anything her father could possibly have to discuss with her, Kagami mechanically put on her uniform. She was so distracted that she almost walked out of her room without shoes on but she discovered that they were missing just in time. Her thoughts were still consumed with the upcoming dinner as she got into her limo and payed no attention at all to where she was going. Her driver could have taken her to the mall and she wouldn't have noticed. In fact, when the car arrived at Ouran Academy, it took Kagami almost a full minute to realize that the limo had come to a stop.

She got out of the car and out of habit headed towards her classroom. She was too worried to actually realize where she was heading. But although on the inside she was extremely perturbed, none of the worry showed in her blue eyes or made her frown in distress. Kagami looked as cold and unapproachable as she always did. Because of this, she was a bit startled when four girls approached her as soon as she sat down at her desk.

"We need to talk to you." A girl with dull brown hair and squinty eyes said in a haughty tone.

Kagami raised an eyebrow and stared coolly at the four girls towering over her. They seemed to shrink back a little as Kagami looked at them, so they were obviously intimidated by her. That was most likely the reason why they had waited until she was seated to approach her. They probably thought that with the height advantage they would be able to intimidate her. It obviously wasn't working. They were scared, but for some reason, they were also angry enough that they were ignoring that fear.

"What could I possibly have to say to you?" Her icy voice made the girls shrink back even further.

The squinty-eyed brunette recovered first. She pulled herself up slightly and continued talking. "Why was Mori senpai carrying you through the halls."
