Noises. Nosies everywhere.
They drowned out everything, she couldn't hear anything. She couldn't hear herself think and when she tried to think there would only be more noises.
Vision. She could barely even see what was going on. Her eyes would be open one minute, then she would blink and she would see something that was different then what she thought she was just looking at. Her surroundings kept changing with each blink of her eyes.
Taste. A liquid of some sort was in her mouth, she didn't know what it was, but the taste was extremely horrid. She wanted to taste something different but she couldn't.
Feeling. She had none. Everything was numb, she couldn't even feel her own hands. She couldn't even turn her head to see if she even had hands.
She closed her eyes again, and when she opened them, everything was quiet. Simpler. Better.
At least that's how she felt for about a minute or so. And then she started to panic.
Her surrondings were black, nothing else but black. A shade that she recognized. She had lived in utter darkness for so long, until....until...
What was his name again? She thought to herself. His name was on the tip of her tounge, but she couldn't quite place it. But she knew that he was the one who somehow managed to bring her out of the darkness and back into the real world.
She looked around, lost in the darkness. She couldn't see or feel anything, but she felt herself, knowing that she had all of her body parts intact. Including her eyes. They were open, so wherever she was, it was pitch black all on it's own.
But, it felt as if she were flying. She couldn't feel the ground beneath her feet, walls didn't exist and there seemed to be no ceiling.
What is going on? What happened to me? She couldn't stop the questions sprouting in her mind.
Brooklyn couldn't remember a single thing. Nothing about herself, nothing about what was going on, nothing about before she became this state.
Assuming there was a before.
She wracked her mind for answers. Answers that didn't exist. Or that haven't been found yet.
Who am I? Where am I? Why am I here? What happened? How did this happen? When did this happen?
The 5 'W''s. Who, What, When, Where, Why, and How. 'How' wasn't a 'w', but the questions were still coming, one by one.
She couldn't hear anything around her in this black abyss that she was trapped in. Nothing was making sense.
She wanted out. And she wanted it now.
