School was.... weird.

At least that was how Brooklyn was feeling.

After realizing that the guy next door was more then one person to her, she had been feeling weird all day.

She had thought back to that day that she woke up from the hospital, and that boy, Luke, as he had said his name was, had hugged her.

And she had pushed him off of her.

And he had been her boyfriend the entire time.

This all must be really hard on him, she thought to herself, I mean, they were supposed to be dating and she couldn't remember him at all.

Brooklyn had gotten her locker combo and her class timetable once she had reached school. She learned where all her classes were, but everyone around her were being weird.

Did they know what happened to her?

Did she do something bad that she couldn't remember?

She ignored them though, walking in to her last class of the day. She spotted an empty desk in the already half full classroom, and she sat down in it, looking to her right to see that she had sat down beside someone.

Beside Luke.

"Hi" she spoke up softly to him. She knew that it was wierd, attempting to start a conversation with someone she barley even remembered, but after the information that she had figured out that day, she wanted to attempt trying to remember him.

Luke looked to his side, surprised by her greeting him, and he sent her a smile, "Hi" he replied back to her.

But after that, there was silence between the two, and it wasn't long before the bell rang and the teacher walked into the classroom, starting the english lesson.

After the class had passed, Brooklyn and Luke both stood from their seats, brushing arms as they did.

Brooklyn packed her books in her bag, and turned around, walking out the class room door and leaving Luke behind.

Luke watched her walk away from him, and longed to go after her.

But he wasn't sure.

Should he?

Should he wait?

Should he talk to her?

Would she freak out around him after what happened at the hospital?

Luke had so many thoughts swimming around in his head, and it was a miracle to him how he managed to leave the classroom and go to his locker, all on auto pilot.

And what fazed him even more was how Brooklyn's locker was only three lockers down from his.

Was this some sort of sign?
