"Can you call Cal and Ash, Mike? I think we're gunna need there help" Brooklyn told Michael as she stood from her bed.

He nodded, "Sure. You're not gunna black out on me while I'm gone, are you?" he was half joking, half not. Brooklyn decided to take it as a joke though.

"No promises. But I'll be fine, just go" she shooed him off as she dumped all of their findings onto her bed.

"Do you still want me here? To help you?" Her head snapped back up, realizing that Luke was still in the room with her. In her haste to try and figure out how this whole thing came together, she completly forgot that Luke was still here with her.

"I-it's up to you. I mean, I asked you fo help the first time, but it wasn't such a bug priority to you. And besides, Ashley's a clingy girlfriend. She might call you to do something and what Michael and I are doing is really important so," she didn't mean to come off so harshly. She just did. The mere thought of her and Luke working together was starting to repulse her. Just because he blew her off for Ashley. And if she and Luke had dated some time in the past, she was sure that he should be well aware of Brooklyn and Ashley's burning hatred for eachother.

"I.. I want to help-" he was cut off by the ringing of his phone.

"Ashley," he answered, and Brooklyn rolled her eyes and scoffed, "I can't. I'm kind of busy right now"

Brooklyn's ears perked at that. Was he going to disregard his girlfriend for her?

Luke turned away from her and walked abit away from her, not wanting Brooklyn to hear his converstaion. It was turning south, fast.

"I'm sorry but I really can't"

"Are you cheating on me?"

"What? No. That's your job" he rolled his eyes.

He knew that that was a low blow, but he couldn't help it.

"For the last time baby, I didn't cheat on you. Brooklyn was lying"

He went along with it, wanting the easy way out of the conversation, "Whatever. I have to go"

"Are you with your ex-slut?"

"What?"

"Are you with Brooklyn?"

"N-no. Why would you think that?" e stuttered.

"Lukey, you know how I feel about her"

"I told you babe, I'm not with Brooklyn" his voice was low to try and mask it. He didn't want Brooklyn to hear him, even though she was only meters away.

And she heard him.

And she was mad.

Luke wrapped up the call and turned to face his ex-girlfriend.

"Just go"

"Wait but-"

"Are you really that embarressed to be with me that you have to lie to her about it?" Brooklyn stood up and crossed her arms across her chest.

"It's not like that-" he was cut off by the ringing of his phone once again.

"Just go to her. She's obviously more important" she dismissed as Luke bit his lip, answering the phone call.

"Fine. I'll be right over" he answered Ashley, his eyes holding an apologetic look. She turned away from him as he hung up.

"Brooklyn..."

"Just go" she whispered, once again, the feeling of rejection was washing over her. Once she heard Luke leave, Michael came back in.

"I.. heard what happened" Michael said awkwardly, but Brooklyn just nodded silently.

"His disicion, I guess"

"But it's the wrong desicion"

She huffed and turned around to face Michael, "I guess I can't really blame him. I'm not the same person that he fell in love with. I'm different now"

"But that shouldn't matter! He should love you for you"

"But Michael I'm not the same me!"

"But he should keep fighting for you!"

She was silent.

She knew that Michael had a point. If Luke still loved her and hadn't moved on to Ashley, then he should be helping her. Trying to get her memory back, trying to get her to love him again.

"It's his disicion" she concluded, not wanting to argue anymore.

"When you get your memory back, and you remember everything that you forgot, I hope you realize that Luke left you when you need him the most"

"Michael-"

"No. I'm not just saying this because I'm trying to break you up or something. But because he should still be trying to repair what was broken"

She nodded her head, and didn't respond. That wasn't the big issue at the moment. Connecting all this evidence to whatever this was, was the big picture.

Acouple minutes later, Ashton and Calum showed up, and were brought up to date with what was going on, what her and Michael had discovered.

"You think this has something to do with your accident?" Calum asked.

"I don't know, I mean it could" she answered.

"There's alot of evidence but what would this have to do with your accident?" Michael asked.

Ashton answered the next question, his eyebrows furrowing together, "Maybe, and I'm only thinking out loud here, but maybe, it wasn't an accident at all"

They were all silent, confusion on their faces as they all thought about it.

Staged?

A set up?

"But who would do that? Who would intentionally want to try and kill you?" Calum asked again, not connecting all the dots.

Brooklyn almost fainted, "Kyle"

She quickly picked up the driver's lisience, "That would explain why a recent drivers lisience of his was found at the scene, right?"

The three boys nodded their head.

How deep did this 'accident' really go?
