"Hey"
Brooklyn turned around to be face with Ashley.
"What do you want?" she frowned at her, turning back around to go through her locker.
"I just wanted to say thanks"
Brooklyn stopped the placement of her books and turned back around.
"Thanks for what?" she asked wearily.
"For breaking his heart" she smirked.
This got Brooklyn confused, "Breaking whose heart?"
"Luke's. We're back together, thanks to you" she crossed her arms over her chest as Brooklyn let out an inaudible gasp, her eyes wide.
"What? No. You're lying. He wouldn't take you back. You cheated on him. With my boyfriend. Well, ex"
"All the proof you have is your eyes. He didn't see me cheating on him. And besides. He's the one who asked me to be his girlfriend again. I just thought I should let you know"
"Let me know what?"
"To back off of him. I don't want you coming in the way of our new budding romance" she spat, turning around and walking away from Brooklyn.
"B*tch" Brooklyn muttered under her breath, choosing to ignore the information that she had just recieved.
Luke and Ashley? He wouldn't do that....
But he had.
Brooklyn was just about to enter her second period class, when she stopped cold in her tracks.
Luke had Ashley pinned against the lockers by her hips, his lips attatched to hers.
And just like that, she had dropped her books, her hands rushing up to clutch her head as she collapsed to her knees on the floor.
Luke laughed, tracing his nose along her jawline, causing her to giggle.
"Stop" she whispered playfully, but they both knew that she didn't want Luke to stop. So he didn't.
He dragged his nose lightly along Brooklyn's neck and collarbone before her looked back up at her and brought his lips to meet hers.
"When's you're mom coming home?" Luke asked her, parting his lips slightly to speak to her. He kissed her again before she responded.
"Around 8 or 9" she could see the mischievous glint in Luke's eyes before he glaced to the clock on the wall in her room.
"Well," he started, straddeling her hips and pinning her hands to the bed, interlacing their fingers together, "That gives us about two or three more hours"
"To do what?" she smiled, knowing full well what he wanted to do.
"To do this" he pressed his lips back to hers, causing a giggle to escape her lips.
"Only with you," he whispered to her, "I will only ever want to kiss you"
"Lies, lies, lies!" she heard herself scream. But not just her. Other people around her were screaming too.
Panicking.
In a sudden blur, the pain was gone, leaving her weak in the knees and with a splitting headach.
"Brook. Brooklyn, open your eyes. Can you hear me?" Luke's voice swirled in her ears and she slowly opened her eyes, removing her hands from cradelling her head.
She looked around, at all the students and the small amount of teachers that were staring at her with worry.
She abruptly stood up, ignoring the judging looks and she picked up her stuff as well.
Luke stood up with her, since he had been crouching beside her.
"Are you alright?" he reached out to touch her arm, but she flinched away.
"I'm fine"
"What did you see?" he asked her. He knew that when she acted like that, a mini panic attack, she was seeing a memory that she had forgotten.
She gave him a void look, glancing at Ashley who had somehow mananged to loop her arm through his.
Luke caught her glance at Ashley.
"I didn't see anything"
