"Calum c'mon! You can do it!" Ashton and Michael cheered for their friend.

"Don't get beat Calum! C'mon! Yes! Yes! Yes! NO!" Michael and Ashton yelled profanities that echoed off the walls of Luke's house.

"I told you guys. You shouldn't have bet money on it. Now pay up" Luke laughed as he held out his expecting hand, waiting for the three upset boys to hand over two 10 dollar bills each.

"I didn't think you were serious! How is this even fair?" Calum protested as he fished the money out of his pocket.

"Should've listened to me. Good job B" Luke looked over at Brooklyn, leaning over in his seat and pressing a soft kiss to her lips quickly.

"It was nothing really. I could've beaten him in the 2nd round, but I wanted to keep you guys in suspense" Brooklyn chuckled, smiling widely at Michael, Ashton and Calum.

"Unbelievable! How could you let this happen Calum? We were counting on you!" Michael chastised Calum, who was shaking his head shamefully at himself.

"Everything was going so fast. She was just so good, and she made it look so easy!" Ashton complained.

They had been playing video games. And Michael had suggested a little "friendly" competition game.

And then Luke bragged about how good Brooklyn was, and Ashton suggested that she should verse Calum. And Calum agreed.

They never should've doubted her abilities.

"You guys could really learn a lot from her. She's amazing" Luke gloated some more about Brooklyn, knowing that when he praised her, it bothered the other boys.

"You're amazing, Brooklyn"

Brooklyn could see it. The memory behind her eyes.

A new memory this time.

She didn't know who Calum, Ashton and Michael were, but now she did. She saw them. The color of Michael's hair, the bandana on Ashton's head, and the smile Calum was always wearing.

She didn't recognize them at first, but now she did.

She knew them a little more then just that memory. She new more about them then anything else that had ever presented itself to her in the black hole.

She knew that they were the Luke guys' friends, but that was pretty much it. But still, it was more then anything else.

Brooklyn closed her eyes again, wanting to see that memory, or maybe a different one, again. But it was black, and she couldn't see anything else.

She huffed in frustration, wanting to punch a wall or something.

When was she going to get out of here?
