I was sitting in my room watching lohanthony's new video. He is certainly one of my favorite youtubers, besides Bethany and Zoella.

I thought this summer was going to be awesome but I just ended up sitting on my bed whilst watching youtube videos.

"Lace! I have good news for you," My mom exclaimed.

"What is it?" I asked, closing my laptop.

"I found a good job," She smiled, pausing for an instant, "But, the bad news is that we have to move to California,"

"Oh my god mom-"

Wait what? We're moving out? No way.

"Mom, are you kidding? We're moving to a completely different country. A place where I have no friends nor family?"

"Lacey, I'm pretty sure you're going to have fun there with your brother," She announced, "And instead of sitting on your bed doing nothing, you can go have fun and meet new people."

"I don't want to go." I argued.

"Lacey, I have no time for this. We're going to move out whether you're okay with it or not. End of story," She said, walking off.

I groaned, grabbing my phone from the counter and texting my boyfriend.

To: Noah

We're moving out to Cali.

From: Noah

You're kidding.

To: Noah

Nope.

From: Noah

So, that means that I'll never see you again? we'll break up?

To: Noah 

we're not breaking up!

I waited for him to text me back, but I got no reply.

I decided I would go downstairs, so I did. I walked into the living room and sat next to my brother, Ethan.

"How is your girlfriend?" I asked.

"She's good," He replied, smiling widely,"I was planning on proposing to her before going to California."

"Awe, that's so sweet. I really ship you guys."

He blushed and looked down.

"Since when do you blush?" I chuckled, as I noticed his reaction to my comment.

"Shut up."

Today is the day which we move to California. I'm not really happy about it because I have to leave all my friends behind and I may not get to see them again. I'll miss Noah so much, more than he could ever possibly imagine.
