The Moon's Light ➶ Rise of the Brave Tangled Frozen Dragons [ON HOLD!!]

Prologue

~3 years ago~

It was early January in Burgess and the snow is still falling out of the sky. I get up from my bed, change into my outerwear clothing, and head out the door to meet up with my friends. I run for about a few blocks in this small town until I meet up with my best friend Elsa, her little sister Anna, and my other close friend Jamie.

"Hey guys!" I yell out to my friends. They all wave at me and I catch up to my friends.

"Luna, I'm glad you're here we can finally start our snow fight," Jamie says. Then we all start our usual epic snow fights, which only lasted about an hour when Jamie finally surrendered. Afterwards, we all head towards the park to enjoy some hot chocolate we buy from a local coffee shop. Then, we talk about normal teenage/kid's stuff once we arrived at the park.

"So Luna how is it being in high school with my sister," Anna says.

"Oh, it's kinda hard. It's way different than middle school," I say.

"I can't wait to go to high school next year. It's going to be so much fun especially with my sister and her best friend already there." Anna starts jumping in excitement.

"Anna, you'll just have to be patient. Plus, high school isn't all fun and games; you'll have to try your hardest when you get there," Elsa states.

"I know Elsa."

"Too bad I won't be there with you guys. I'll have to wait two more years to get there," Jamie whines.

"Don't worry Jamie. We'll be waiting for you," I say. He laughs and we all continue talking about other things. About an hour later, both Elsa and Anna had to leave home. Jamie and I say our goodbyes to them as we went our separate ways. We both start walking around town for a while until Jamie remembered something.

"Luna!! I almost forgot I had to go meet my friend today. Why don't you come and meet him?" He eagerly asks.

"Sure; I guess I can meet your friend. Who is it?" I ask.

"It's Jack Frost!!"

"Jack... Frost? Are you sure that's his name?" I raise my eyebrow in confusion.

"You don't believe me do you? I knew you wouldn't believe me if I told you. Teenagers, now a days, don't believe in him or the others anymore." Jamie's face grew sadder by the second and he looks down to face the snow.

"No Jamie I believe you. Let's go and meet your friend then." Just like that his face was lifted with joy. He grabs my hand and starts leading me to the forest. It took about a good minute or so until we reach the frozen lake. Once we made it, Jamie started to call out to his friend. A few second passed by, then a boy who looked about 18 years old walked out from behind a tree. He had pale white skin, blue eyes, and white hair, and he was holding a wooden stick. I thought he was absolutely handsome, but then again a normal 14 year old girl would say that. "Luna, this is my friend Jack."

I then reach out my hand towards him. "It's nice to meet you Jack."

He looks at me in complete shock. "You can see me?"

"Yea I can. Why wouldn't I?"

"So that means you believe in me."

"How can I be sure that you're actually Jack Frost? Show me some proof," I say. I look behind me and see a tree. I turn back towards Jack and point towards the tree. "Freeze the tree."

He then smirks, "Alright then. But, don't fangirl over me once I prove you wrong."

I scoff and roll my eyes, unimpressed by his flirtatious charm.

He walks up to the tree and then picks up the stick he's been holding onto all this time. He moves the stick so that it would touch the tree, and right when it had touched it, frost started to form onto the tree. He turns around and I look at him stunned. "Do you believe me now?" I nod my head. He then smiles at me, and Jack, Jamie, and I then had a normal day like any other group of teenagers would.

~1 year ago~

Jamie and I stand by the side in North's Workshop as we witness our friends Jack, Elsa, Anna, Rapunzel, Flynn, Kristoff, Merida, and Hiccup taking their oath as becoming the Big 4 team. I knew this was a big thing for all of them to become guardians of the seasons. They had only dreamed of taking this position once they all met each other, and now, after all this time, it was finally going to happen.

Elsa and Jack both are the first to go up, with Jack wearing his normal hoodie, brown jeans, and barefoot as always while Elsa wore a beautiful blue dress, that she made herself, which made her look like a Snow Queen.

"Jack Frost and Elsa Arendelle will you vow to become the guardians of winter and to protect all the people, both children and adults, around the world." North says. He firmly held onto his book as he recited these vows.

"We do," they both say. Then Rapunzel and Flynn walk up, with Rapunzel wearing a purple dress which she made herself, purple flats to match her dress, and her long blonde hair in a braid while Flynn wore a white button up shirt with a green vest over it, beige pants, and brown boots that went up to his knees.

"Rapunzel Corona and Flynn Rider will you vow to become the guardians of summer and to protect all the people, both children and adults, around the world."

"We do," they both say as Rapunzel is jumping in excitement beside Flynn. Then Anna and Kristoff walk up, with Anna wearing a black bodice with off-the-shoulder dark green sleeves and olive green skirt, black flats, and her strawberry blonde hair was put into a bun while Kristoff wore blue button up shirt with a black vest over it, black jeans, and black boots.

"Anna Arendelle and Kristoff Bjorgman will you vow to become the guardians of spring and to protect all the people, both children and adults, around the world."

"We do," both Anna and Kristoff say. Lastly, Merida and Hiccup walk up, with Merida wearing a turquoise silk gown with long sleeves, gold trimmings, and gold beading and her fiery red curly hair just flowing like always while Hiccup wore a dark olive green button up shirt with a brown vest over, dark green jeans, and brown boots.

"Merida DunBroch and Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III will you vow to become the guardians of fall and to protect all the people, both children and adults, around the world."

"We do," They both say with a big smile on their faces.

"Then I now declare all of you as the Big 4 team and you will all work together to protect the world and every person who resides in it safe from any danger." North says. His voice roars throughout the entire building so that everyone could hear the news. Then everyone including Bunnymund, Tooth, Sandy, the yetis and elves, Jamie, and I cheer on as the moon shined its rays down on all of us.

~Present Time~ ~Unknown POV~

I stand by Luna's bed-side as I watch her in her sleep. I could tell that she was having a dreamless slumber, and I wouldn't want to ruin it with some nightmares. Though, even if I wanted to, I don't know what she truly fears. Of course, she has very few of the occasional fears teenagers are known to have. But, unlike other children, she does not seem to have one true fear. Either she doesn't have one or I have just not found it yet. She is different than all the other teenagers that I give nightmares to. I am aware of what she possesses within her and I know she would make an excellent ally, but I knew she would never agree with me if I just ripped her away from her family and friends.

I wanted to help her with all her struggling, and show her who she can really be. I knew this feeling for her wasn't at all love but just care. I wanted to care for this child and help her with her abilities. Without wanting to waste another second, I turn and leave Luna's room to send nightmares to other children in this town of Burgess.
