Chapter 3

~Pitch's POV~

I manage to see everything through the eyes of my nightmares from a small sphere that's located next to my globe. From when Luna defeated the snowman to when her and Elsa ran away to their little friends. "My little Luna seems that you're getting stronger and you've manage to have control your powers, well some of it," I say.

I began hearing footsteps creeping towards me and I turn around to face Gothel. "Pitch, if that girl is so important, then why don't you take her already," she states.

"I am tempted to, but I'll wait till a time when I know she will have no choice but to trust me. And I believe that time will soon be among us."

"Whatever Pitch, it's your plan." She begins walking away into the darkness.

"Where do you think you're going Gothel? You don't have any place to go since your 'little girl' kicked you out of her life."

"Shut it Pitch. I can still manage to go anywhere I want. I'm glad I don't need her with me 24/7 to stay young. I just need that brat to keep her power and make sure she doesn't cut her hair." With that, she walks off into the darkness in my lair.

I look back at the sphere where it continue to replay the scene over and over again. "Soon you will be mine Luna. It'll just take some time before you come to your senses."

~Luna's POV~

Elsa and I got through the portal and landed, usually with me tumbling through and Elsa just gracefully passing through, in North's Workshop, where it's still busy as ever even though Christmas already passed. Once we arrived, all eyes, from both Big Four teams, were on us.

Rapunzel was the first to react. "Elsa, what happened?! Why are you bleeding?!" She runs up to Elsa and inspects her arm.

"It's nothing Rapunzel."

"This doesn't look like nothing. Come with me and I'll heal it for you; Merida can you come with ."

"Yea sure." Merida catches up to both Rapunzel and Elsa as they walk off to the infirmary to heal Elsa's arm. I stand where I was as Jack wraps his arms around me and North walks up to the both of us.

"Luna, what happened?" he asks.

I sigh, "Elsa and I were attacked by Nightmares. She tried to protect me and in the end she got hurt." Tooth, who was right next to North, gasped.

"Why would Pitch have his Nightmares follow you?" Tooth asks.

"I-I have no idea," I say, trying my best to stay calm.

"Well at least you two are fine."

"C'mon Luna, lets meet up with the girls and see if you're actually ok," Jack suggests. I agree and we make our way towards the infirmary. Once we enter the room, I see Elsa sitting on the white bed in the room as Rapunzel is undoing her hair around Elsa's arm.

"Thank you Rapunzel," Elsa says.

"No problem Elsa." Rapunzel turns to look at me. "Luna is something wrong; did you also get yourself hurt?"

"N-No I'm just fine, but Jack insisted I get checked."

"Hey, I just want to make sure," he says.

"Well, come take a seat then," Rapunzel says. I began walking towards the bed just as Elsa is walking out. As we pass each other, she gives me a look as if telling me to calm down. I sit on the bed and Rapunzel checks my arms, legs, and abdomen for any injuries. "There doesn't seem to be any injuries on you. Do you have a headache or anything?"

"Now that you mention it, my head does hurt."

"Then just lay here and rest."

"Alright." Rapunzel smiles and turns around to leave the room. She motions everyone else in the room to leave as well so that I could rest and they all left me alone. As I lay in the room, I close my eyes and rethink of the scene at the lake. I thought everything was going smoothly until that stupid Nightmare appeared and I ended up hurting my best friend.

'Why did those stupid Nightmares have to ruin everything?' I thought.

'My, someone is a little moody,' someone says. I open my eyes and look around the room to see if anyone was around. 'You can't find me in the room Luna. I'm communicating with you through your little head.'

I close my eyes again and continue the conversation. 'What do you want Pitch?'

'I just wanted to congratulate on your little accomplishment you made today. You managed to use your powers to conquer the snowman but sadly you hurt your friend in the end.'

'I only hurt her because of 'your' stupid Nightmare.' Anger began to grow inside me as this conversation kept going on.

'No, you hurt her because you can't control your powers. But, I have something that could change all of that. If only you join me, I can help you control your powers.'

'I know how to control them. I don't need your help; now leave me alone.'

'If you can control your powers, then why don't you open your eyes to see for yourself.' Right after he said that, I immediately snap my eyes open and gasp at the scene in front of me. All of the walls and wooden floors in the room were covered with streaks of black sand. I look at the farthest corner in the room and see Pitch leaning against the wall.

"What have you done?" I whispered to him. I didn't anyone to worry about me so I tried my best to stay quiet.

"What have I done? Luna look at your hand." I slowly look down and see that the origin of the black sand came from me. I slowly raise my hands, which were shaking from the fear I had, and turn them around so that I could see my palms, and, once my palms came into view, black sand was forming around them.

"How could I?"

"You honestly don't know what you are capable of? Anyways, my deal is open to you, whether you choose to take it or not. Before I go, I'll do you a little favor." Pitch extends his hand out and captures all the black sand in the room. "I'll be seeing you soon." Just like that, he disappears into the shadows.

I sit on the bed motionless. 'I can't control these powers. What am I going to do?' I thought. I bring my knees to my chest, and I look away from the door and into the window to see the snow falling outside as a single tear escapes my eyes.
