"Yes, she is a Nightfury," Pitch responds. "So, I'll leave the two of you alone, and remember Luna, you will be training with her tomorrow. You both will need it." With that, he exits the cavern, leaving me alone with the dragon.

Once he was completely out of my sight, I turn my head and look back at the scaly, black dragon, who was still eying me down with her icy blue eyes. I couldn't even tell what she was thinking since she showed no emotion. For all I care, she could be secretly plotting my death, and her ice cold gaze could support that claim.

"Um... well... hello Medusa, or is it okay if I call you May?" I ask.

She growls loudly, showing her sharp teeth, in response. She was ready to claw my eyes out.

I yelp and jump aback in response. "Okay, I see we aren't at that level of trust yet."

I simply just stood there, completely unsure of what to do next. I had to tread lightly with this dragon. I don't even think she's had any other human encounter besides with Pitch. If he is the only person she can trust, then this was going to be a daunting task. Unfortunately, I wasn't like Hiccup, who was practically a pro when it comes to dealing with dragons, nor did I ever see how he communicated with Toothless. I was unfitted for this kind of task.

Then, I thought came into my mind. If I try to pet Medusa, like how Hiccup did with Toothless, then maybe that will help me gain some brownie points with the Nightfury. With that, I slowly walk over to her, stretching out my hand in order to touch her large, scaly head. She seem to have caught on to my advances, and in retort, she roars and fires a purple-colored plasma blast at me. I scream and dodge the attack. With that, I quickly scatter away, leaving the dragon be in her humble home. There was no way I was going to die tonight; not today.

"Okay. That's enough for today. Pleasure working with you Medusa," I shout. As I run from the Nightfury, I don't bother to look back at the dragon, who lays down to rest, clearly proud of her accomplishment in scaring me off.

~The Next Day~

As a small shed of light manages to peak through the thick curtains, its rays shoot straight to my eyes. Subconsciously, I try to use my hands to cover my eyes, but the damage was done already. I couldn't try to fake my sleep any long. With that, I, slowly but surely, open my eyes after a restful night sleep.

At first, even with the small shed of light that woke me up, I was startled at the fact that it still look so dark, but then I remember about my new surroundings and what led me to here.

Suddenly, I remember what plans that were to commence today. Today was training day. The first day I was actually going to train with my powers. I groan at the idea. Today was going to be an interesting day as long as I don't embarrass myself.

I get up from my bed, and if by getting up, I mean I literally drag myself off of bed then landing on my knees. While on my knees, I shuffle through the room and towards my drawers. I pull open one of the drawers and pick out the first pieces of fabric I could find then walk over to the-panel black and white colored room divider, since there wasn't an actual closet I could change in. With that, I change into a black, long sleeve crop top; black leather, high-waisted shorts; and black Doc Marten boots. Then, I put my long black hair into a basic ponytail. I rather not have my prized hair be sheared off by a freak accident.

Once I finish getting ready, I exit my room. After I close my door, I see Elsa walking out of her room as well. Shocking, she wore bright blue and black striped long sleeve crop-top, black skinny jeans, and matching blue combat boots. I never thought I'd ever seen her wear a get-up like that. She was always a little conservative when it came to her clothes.

"Hey, Luna. Ready for our first training with Pitch," she asks. We both start walking over to the supposed training arena that Pitch informed us about.

"Not really," I answer.

"Why? What's the matter?"

"I'm just nervous that's all. I'll probably just end up screwing everything up. My powers aren't exactly ready for my to take control. Plus, I can't train with my new partner, Medusa, because she hates me."

"Luna, you'll do fine with your powers. It's okay to make mistakes; that's why we're training. And, I bet this Medusa girl is a nice pers-"

"Dragon," I correct her.

"What?"

"Dragon. Medusa is a dragon; a Nightfury to be exact."

"A Nightfury? I thought Toothless was the only one?"

"So did I."

"Well, same thing happened with Hiccup and Toothless. It took a while for them to connect, so just give it some time."

"I guess." With that, we continue walking without saying another word. After a few minutes, we make it to the training grounds, which was a large mass of land for a room considering we were still underground. The room contains high ceilings and different areas containing different weapons for training. I could've thought I was preparing for the Hunger Games if it wasn't for the thought that it doesn't exist in real life.

As Elsa and I stood waiting in the room, we notice a man walk into the room. He was a well-built man with fair skin, auburn colored hair with sideburns, and green eyes. He wore only a tight fitting faded blue t-shirt, which showed off his muscle; dark jeans; and black sneakers. The minute he walks into the room, he notices us as well.

"Ah, you two must be the newest members of our team. Hans Westerguard, it's a pleasure to meet you two," he greets us. He walks up to the two of us and extends his hand.

"Elsa Arendelle and this is my friend Luna Jones," Elsa replies. She copies the gesture and shakes his hand.

"I've heard a lot about you two from Pitch. Since we're the newbies around here, I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other."

"I believe we will," I finally say.

"Finally, you three have met each other." We all look over at the entrance to see Pitch standing there. "Now we can start the training session. Hans you will be training with Elsa, and I with Luna."

Both Hans and Elsa nod. Hans then leads Elsa to a section of the arena, which was on the other side of the room, while Pitch walks over to me.

"Well, Luna we'll have to keep practicing with your powers since it seems you are still not confident with your powers yet. Then, later today you'll train with Medusa. Are you ready to begin?"

"I suppose," I say. And, thus, the training finally began.
