~3rd Person POV~
After the Guardians' thoughtful plan was finally initiated, they immediately went to action. As soon as the sun was at its peak, though it was difficult to tell behind the wall of clouds, the Guardians left their headquarters, leaving behind two of their allies.
Due to their critical conditions, Jack and Jamie were ordered to stay inside the infirmary. Since they were unable to fight at the moment, North ordered a group of Yetis to stay behind and stand guard in case there was a need to protect the two injured boys.
With their fellow allies under strong supervision, it gave the rest of the teams some ease. At least, they could go along knowing that they wouldn't lose a friend. They would be able to have their full attention at the task ahead, which was to locate Pitch's lair and launch a sneak attack.
This kind of attack was critical in their fight to beat the darkness that threatens to take over the Earth. It was best to use this plan of attack, especially with Pitch having the lower hand... Or, so they believed.
While venturing through their, somewhat, long journey, the two teams were split up into two groups; one in the air and another on land.
However, not with the group, Mother Nature was nowhere to be seen. As soon as the Guardians were ready to take their flight, the woman flew off to god knows where. Most were hoping that she had already beaten them to the spot or is at least flying alongside them, just not in their view. But, with Jack's statement in mind, Merida believed she had abandoned them or at least just found a perfect spot to watch both sides just practically kill each other. Either way, that wasn't going to stop them from advancing.
Flying through the air, Hiccup was straddled onto Toothless while the four original Guardians (North, Sandy, Tooth, and Bunnymund) were close by. North and Bunnymund, who was gripping onto the seats for dear life, were riding on the sleigh; Tooth was flying through the air with her small army of fairies; and Sandy was riding along a makeshift 1940s fighter plane, which was created with his dream sand.
Riding on the ground, Merida was riding her trusty companion, her horse Angus. But, she wasn't the only one with a companion like that. To her right, a white stallion raced to keep up with the dark-haired horse. Riding on top of the milky white horse, Flynn and Rapunzel held their eyes up front, keeping their eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary. Flynn held onto the horse's strap as he maneuvered the stubborn horse through the forest while Rapunzel held onto her boyfriend in fear of falling off the horse. And, to Merida's left, Anna and Kristoff could be seen riding on top of Kristoff's best reindeer, Sven. The reindeer, who was unexperienced in racing, was huffing and puffing large breathes of air while he tried his best to keep up with the other two speedy horses. Fortunately, it was no trouble for the three animals to dodge any unsuspecting rocks, trees, and branches in their path. It gave their riders more time to focus on their surroundings.
"C'mon, Max, you can make it!" Flynn shouts to the stallion. Maximus couldn't agree more. After hearing those words, the horse rushes onward, beating his onyx colored friend by a few inches.
"Don't get ahead of yourself, Flynn," the fiery haired woman shouts out. "We still need to get there in one piece."
"Yea; we don't need any more people in the infirmary," Kristoff adds, who manages to line up with the group.
"I just want to get to Pitch and kick his sorry ass," Flynn states. With that, the group continues through the maze of dense forestry.
