I am so so so so so sorry that I've lagged on this story!!! It was never my intention to keep this off for so long. Believe me, I hated myself for being on this hiatus. It's just that these upcoming transition chapters are so diffucult to come up with, especially when so many good things are coming soon. Transition chapters are always my worst enemy, but I have to use them in order for the story to flow smoothly and (most importantly) for it to make sense. Believe me, I would totally just want to go full on into the intense scenes just to get it over with. But, I wanted to give you guys the absolutely best quality work I can give you.

Thank you so much for your patience and I promise that I'll bring the next chapter to you guys very soon!!! (Believe me, I've got chapter plots ready and waiting for me to write.)

~Jack's POV~

"Are you kidding, North?! Burgess is not the safest place we could be in right now. Not only will we be putting my hometown in danger, but you'll put the rest of us in danger since everybody knows where we all live!" Flynn comments.

"It was just a suggestion, Flynn," North states.

"A horrible one if you ask me."

"Well, what else would you suggest?" the blue kangaroo (Bunnymund) asks.

"Anywhere than the places you've mentioned."

I roll my eyes. While I rested my elbow on the arm of the wooden chair I sat in, I bring my hand up and rest my chin on the palm of my hand. I think listening to their argument was going to bring me more stress than standing on my own two legs, which Rapunzel feared would happen. Despite her constant yapping, or advice as she likes to call it, I decided to stay with the three wonders and find out ways we could protect our teams. Fighting wasn't really going to do us much justice, even though we'll be ready for anything, but we did have to protect each other and that was our #1 priority, aside from our Guardian duties.

But, listening to those three arguing to each other was better than lying in bed and doing nothing but staring at the ceiling. I don't know how Rapunzel thinks that's fun, at least for the sake of a "patient". Shouldn't Rapunzel know that I'm the most stubborn person there is? With this... potential war going on, I can't just be lying around while my teammates risk their lives out there. Even if I'm still recovering from my wound, which I may or may not have made worse due to recent events (rather not dwell in the past), I have to get back to my role of the leader of the Guardians of the Seasons and I have to go into my "Guardian Mode" (clever name, right?).

However, in order to keep Rapunzel and Anna off my back, I had to listen to their... advice, and with their request, I was planted into this cushioned, wooden chair that was prompted next to the never ending long table that the other three idiots were also seated by. And, by three idiots, I mean Flynn, North, and Bunnymund. They're only idiots simply for the fact that they're arguing on how they're suppose to protect the teams and I highly doubt arguments will save our lives.

"Really, Flynn? My workshop isn't safe?" says North.

I groan. "North, I have to agree with Flynn. Everywhere you've mentioned will either get us killed, get us captured, or both. Burgess; there are two people on the other side who know where my teammates live. The Workshop; we're always and that's a given. Tooth's palace; someone found a way to infiltrate there and steal our memory boxes so you really want to guess what else they can do if we're there." I slide my finger across my throat to get the message across. "And, don't even get me started on Kangaroo's place."
