Chapter 23

~Anna's POV~

As Merida, Hiccup, and Toothless took care of the Nightmares, Rapunzel, Flynn, Kristoff, and I had to take care of the people in front of us. If only Jamie came as quickly as he could with the other guardians, then this would be much easier to deal with. As we quickly fought in the battle, I immediately decided to fight against the hooded woman while the other three took the others. Luckily, I've had skills in sword fighting, which I learned from North, so I was prepared to fight. But, I didn't know how well my opponent was. How was this going to play out?

"Don't worry Anna. We got this in the bag!" Olaf shouts as he runs beside me.

"I hope so, Olaf. Watch my back; will you?" I request.

"I've got you."

As Olaf and I near the hooded woman, the unknown man turns to her.

"Quick catch!!" he yells to her. He tosses another sword to her to which she swiftly catches without cutting his finger.

Then, she turns to face me with the sword she was now yielding pointed straight at me. I was in awe with her swift movement, but I shook off the trance and quickly went into fighting.

Between us, I was the one to make the first move. I make a sharp swing towards her. But, before I knew it, the sound of metal clashing was the only thing I could hear now as my opponent blocks my offense attacks. With each thrust I made, she easily blocks each attack. She is an expert in sword fighting I'll give her that.

"Watch your right!" Olaf shouts.

I hop to the left just as my opponent brings down her sword, missing my arm by a hairline.

Then, I felt a tug on my shirt. "Back it up!"

I follow his direction. Then, she slices the sword through the air, almost cutting right through my stomach.

"Get her, Anna!"

"I'm trying!!" I spat out. I thrust my weapon forward, only to be blocked, yet again.

As our sword clash for a final time, I was able to knock the woman's blade right out of her hand, which lands a few feet away from her. I aim my sword against her chest in order for her to not make another move.

"Don't even think about it."

"Alright, Anna!" Olaf cheers.

Even at a standstill, my opponent doesn't bother to take a glance at me. She only looks to her side.

Out of curiosity, I look to the side as well. Then, I notice that Kristoff and the mysterious man were sword fighting as well. At the last move, Kristoff was also able to knock the sword off of his opponent's hands, and soon after, Kristoff thrusts forward and slashes though his opponents right arm, creating a large gash on his masculine arm.

With that, I could hear the woman gasp then scream, "Hans!!!"

My eyes widen and my jaw drops once I hear my hooded woman speak. I knew that voice anywhere, and there was no mistaking it. "Elsa?!" I yell.

Olaf gasps.

Then, she looks back at me and removes her hood to reveal her true identity. Her eyes pierce right through me with an intense dark expression. If looks could kill, I would've dropped dead by now.

"H-How could-"

Before I could utter another word, she uses her abilities to create a shard of ice against me, which threw me aback. Then, she turns towards Kristoff and the other man, which I now knew was Hans. She motions her hands towards them; then, immediately after, an ice wall rises from the ground between the two, throwing Kristoff aback.
