Nezuko's P.O.V.

As soon as we walked through the "wall," my sweet, innocent, oblivious brother just...

"Ah! There's a house behind a dead end," he says. I facepalmed.

'I love him to death, but he's so oblivious.'

Yushiro beckons us over to him.

"Listen. Don't offend the person you are about to see. I couldn't care less what happens to you. I brought you here because she told me to," he said.

"R-right..." Tanjiro stammered.

Yushiro leads us into a house and towards a door, which he then knocks on. We were told to enter and walked into the room. Inside the room, Lady Tamayo was sitting on a chair next to the woman who had been attacked earlier, who was now lying in a bed.

"I have returned," Yushiro said.

"Welcome back." Lady Tamayo greeted.

"I am sorry I left you to take care of things just now. How is the lady?" Yushiro asked.

"She'll be just fine. Unfortunately, I have to keep her husband restrained in the basement." Lady Tamayo explained. I sighed sadly.

"Isn't treating human wounds unbearable for you? " Tanjiro asked.

"Tanjiro!" I hissed, hitting him upside the head, while at the same time, Yushiro punched him in the chest.

"Honestly, Tanjiro. If I can control my thirst, can't other demons as well?" I said in exasperation.

"I'm sorry." Tanjiro apologized.

"Yushiro, stop it. Don't resort to violence." Lady Tamayo lightly scolded. Yushiro sat at attention. I giggled slightly.

"I never introduced myself. My name is Tamayo, and the boy is Yushiro. I hope you two can be his friends," she said in her soft voice. The boys blanched.

"Well, since you introduced yourself, I will introduce us. My name is Nezuko, and as you can tell, I too am a demon. I have been for the past few years. This is my brother Tanjiro. If you haven't guessed, we are both demon slayers, but don't worry, we won't harm you." I told them.

"We gathered, after neither of you attacked us. To answer your question, Tanjiro, it's not that unbearable. I believe it's much easier for me than for normal demons, because I've tweaked my body considerably. I've also removed Kibutsuji's curse." Lady Tamayo explained.

"Curse? T-Tweaked your body?" Tanjiro asked, confused.

Lady Tamayo took off her lab coat and walked towards the door, asking us to follow her. She took us to a tatami room, and I immediately plopped down on the floor Indian Style (Criss-cross applesauce).

Once everyone was seated, Lady Tamayo began explaining what she meant.

"I adjusted our bodies so that we can live without devouring humans. All we need is a small amount of human blood."

"Blood? You mean..." Tanjiro trailed off.

"You may find it distasteful, but what I do is buy blood under the guise of transfusions from those less fortunate. However, we take just enough—never too much," she explained further.

"It's like a mutual symbiotic relationship. You both benefit from the transaction."

"Yushiro can get by with less blood than I. I am actually the one who turned him into a demon." Lady Tamayo told us.

"Huh, what, but how?" Tanjiro questioned.

"I understand your confusion. It is known that Kibutsuji is the only one who can create demons. That's true, more or less. It was only after over 200 years that I was able to transform Yushiro," she said. Tanjiro was shocked. I already knew this, and I knew what my brother was going to say next, so I was prepared to slap him.

"Two... Two hundred years... You were able to transform Yushiro after more than two hundred years?!? Exactly how old..." Tanjiro started, but I slapped him upside the head before he could finish the question.

"Tanjiro Kamado! I know Mother taught you better than to ask a lady about her age." I scolded. "I am so sorry about his manners." I apologized and bowed to Lady Tamayo. Tanjiro also bowed in apology.

"Back to where I was, I'm not trying to make more demons. I only turn those who are terminally ill or those so gravely injured that don't have long to live. And I always ask before doing so." Lady Tamayo said.

'Carlisle 2.0,' I giggled to myself. I looked towards my brother, knowing he was going to ask Lady Tamayo a question.

"Miss Tamayo, is there a way to return a transformed demon to a human?" he asked.

"There is a way..." she said. I held my brother back before he got too close to Lady Tamayo.

"Please tell me how," he begged, trying to get out of my grip.

"Nezuko," Tanjiro whined, trying to get my hands off where I was holding his collar.

"No, unless you behave," I said.

"Are you sure you're not the older sibling?" Yushiro asked, seeming amused at our banter.

"Yes." I sighed, rubbing my temple.

'Sometimes, I feel like I'm the mother.' I internally thought.

"Tanjiro, I will let you go if you stay silent and listen to Lady Tamayo. No interrupting." I told him. He nodded, and I slowly let his collar go. Lady Tamayo looked at us amusedly, and I could see a small smirk on Yushiro's face.

"Just like with any wound, there is always some treatment or medicine. At this time, there isn't a way to turn a demon back into a human; we are trying to find one. I need to study the blood of numerous demons. That's where I need your help. I need you to retrieve as many blood samples as possible from demons closely related to Kibutsuji. Meaning I need blood from demons whose powers are more or on par with Kibutsuji himself.  Also, Nezuko, with your permission, I would like to study your blood." I nodded my head. "Your current condition is extremely rare and unique. I understand that for the past two years, you haven't consumed flesh or blood of a human. Most demons would go berserk, but you haven't. I also understand that you slept quite a bit over the past two years; I believe your body went through changes during this time. Are you two willing to help with my requests?"

"Of course," I said.

"If it means you're able to create a cure and help Nezuko and others, then I'll do it." Tanjiro agreed.

Before our conversation could go any further, I felt the atmosphere change, and I heard Susamaru and Yahaba outside.

"Everyone down!" I yelled as I lunged for my brother and the others.
