Alice woke up and noticed that they were sitting in a white room, with a bright light across the ceiling, the kind you see in high school classrooms. Once her eyes adjusted to the light and all the details came in more clear, she noticed that Kids arms where strapped down to the chair arms, and his legs were bound too. He was still asleep, his head tilted onto his left shoulder, his hair covering his pale face. Alice tried to move, tried to get up, but a sharp stabbing sensation filled her legs and arms the second she tried to move. She let out a cry, and fell against the cold, metal chair. Blood dropped out from under the straps on her wrists, and legs. Alice started screaming, completely losing her mind. Kid woke up, and immediately Alice screamed at him not to move. His breathing rapidly sped up, and he was yelling, trying to calm her down, when the room turned completely dark. They both fell dead silent, and heard a metal door slam, echoing throughout the entire room. Alice's panicking eyes met Kid's as the sound of footsteps increased behind her.
She let out a cry as someone behind her stuck a needle in her arm. Kid had shut his eyes as if he couldn't bare to see this. Her eyes felt heavy, and she couldn't open her mouth, it felt like everything in her body was shutting down. She closed her eyes, the last image in her head was of Kid screaming and breaking out of the chair.
As Alice fell into a heavy slumber, Kid was breaking free of the rope, leaving marks all over his fragile skin. The pain that washed over him was too much to handle, as he watched the love of his life slump over in the chair, all the energy being sucked out of her. He couldn't think straight, couldn't breathe right, he just kept screaming. He hadn't felt this much pain ever before in his life, like his heart was being ripped out. Kid didn't know whether or not Alice was alive, he just couldn't lose her. It would destroy him.
