"You didn't know much about this faculity, Alice.

And I couldn't tell you much at the time." Xavien started to explain to Alice. She stood there, goosebumps coming over her entire body. It stunk down there. Bad. Alice didn't know what to focus on, Xavien, The bodies strung up along the walls, or getting away.
"But these bodies,"
He gestured around the tunnel walls.
"Are old patients. Recent patients even." He had a tight grasp on Alice's arm, like he knew she was thinking of running.
Alice felt like her entire stomach was falling into a bottomless pit.
"How do you know about this?" She asked, his grip on her arm tightened.
He opened his mouth like he was about to answer, then paused.
"Run." He whispered. And then he took off, with her arm still clenched in his hand. Without hesitating she ran as fast as she could, trying not to get her arm dislocated. She heard the footsteps behind them, heard the muffled laughter. Heard the screams. She choked back tears and kept running.
The bodies were appearing more skeletal the farther they got from the entrence. They were strung up from their hands, or their feet. Some bodies were to mangled to tell whether or not it was their hands or feet that was tied up. Bones were scattered across the ground, and Alice tried hard not to trip over them.
The voices got fainter as they ran farther down the tunnel. Alice tried to stop running, her legs felt as if they were about to collapse.
"Xavien." she gasped. "Stop. Please".
They turned a corner and he stopped running causing Alice to tumble into his arms.
Once she had caught her breath she tore away and held herself up against the wall. He took a step towards her, as if to offer support.
Alice shook her head and looked down at the ground.
There wasn't bones or any trace of a human that had died in this area. The walls were damp , and had miss scattered across them.
"Listen Alice. I had to get you out of there. This tunnel, these bodies. Everything down here is remains of the people who used to stay in the hospital."
"Why..? And how do you know all this?"
"I've been here a while, and I've observe quietly. I've been in and out of the hospital quite a lot.
I saw you and I knew you didn't belong there instantly. I had to get you away. "
"So they just.. They kill them? Everyone?"
"The ones who misbehave or aren't improving. Yeah." Xavien sighed.
Alice sat down against the wall with her head in her hands trying to take all of it in.
"I have so much to tell you Alice.
I know you. I've known of you for a long time. And when I saw you there in the hospital I just knew it was you. It had to be."
"What are you talking about Xavien ?"
"He'd be so happy to know I found you.." Xavien half smiled at Alice as she lifted her head out of her hands.
"Who.."
"Come on. We have to leave now. "
Xavien pulled Alice to her feet, and started to walk away from her.
"Who are you talking about?"
Xavien ignored her and kept walking ahead of her as if he had never said a word.
