Alice isnt very stable, but shes starting to remember some of the stuff she
Lived through. She dreams that Kid visits her while shes asleep. Alice
asked the nurse if this had ever happened, and the nurse just shook
her head and returned to her work.
She couldnt tell Alice about this, it would confuse her beyond everything
. Her mind wouldnt be able to handle it.
The nurse wasnt even sure how she herself was coping with all this
confusing drama. It was on & off again. Day after day there was more
confusing parts. Some didnt fit into this puzzle and some fit perfectly. At
some points she wasnt sure if she should believe that Kid was actually real.
But if he was..
She knew she had to tell Alice soon.
The nurse woke up one night to screaming coming from Alice's bedroom.
She had fallen asleep in the room across from Alice's, to tired to move.
She jolted awake, at alices Piercing scream, and she bolted out the
door and ran across the hallway, stopping at the doorway and looking
in to see what the matter was. Once she saw she took a deep breathe
in and rushed towards Alice. She knew he was here, and So did Alice
Apparently. "Alice..Honey whats wrong?" The nurse whispered as she
held a screaming, crying, Alice in her arms. "I saw him..He...He's Alive.."
The nurse looked over by the window, and sure enough..There was Kid.
With tears streaming down his face, just silently standing there. He held
something in his hand, but the nurse never got close enough to see.
If she had, it wouldve droven her insane. Alice's breathing was heavy
and fast. Like she couldnt catch her breathe. The nurse pulled Alice away
from her and looked her in the eyes. "Its Kid, isnt it?.." She sighed, already
knowing the answer. Alice nodded, and turned towards Kid.
He mouthed a few words to her, and she pulled away from me, and
Slowly stood up. She walked towards him, and i could see the fear in her
eyes as she did this. He reached out his hand, as if a motion for her to take
it, she rejected it at first. But as she got closer, she grabbed his hand, and he
took her closer into him. The nurse tried her best to shrink into the shadows,
as Alice cried while they hugged. But something made the nurse feel like
he was a bad idea. Maybe it was the way he looked at Alice, The way his
eyes lit up in a way. As if to say
I own your emotions, and in the blink of an eye, i can make sure you love me so much it hurts.
And the nurse believed that he could do this to Alice. She was so fragile already,
and Kid had hurt her beyond repair. But Alice had loved him, And she could again..
