[30] Frozen

Tess's POV

Lily was sleeping peacefully on my bed and Josh and me on the floor- cuddling.

"I'm getting bored," Josh whined, while detaching himself from me and sitting cross-legged directly in front of me.

I rolled my eyes at him playfully, "Let's watch Frozen." I grinned menacingly. Ha! Let's see how bored you can get then.

"Oh, for crying out loud! Seriously?" he complained as he flailed his hands in the air.

I got up from the hard, cold floor and ran upstairs to my room to search for the Frozen DVD. Minutes later, I couldn't find the movie. "Ughm. Told you it was a bad idea." Josh cleared his throat and stepped into my room.

Damn it! Why is my room so messy!

  "Actually," I smartly started, "You said 'oh, for crying out loud! seriously?'" I air quoted while curling my fingers to make quotation marks. Josh watched me with serious stare. "Specifically," I teased.

He took another step closer, only about two feet away.
"What if I say, we make that 'specifically' into more vague?" he said in a low, raspy voice while taking another step closer. Just one more foot and I'm so down.

"Vague? Seriously?" I questioned. "Is that the best you can do?" I said in a playful tone. He took a larger step closer before moving my hair away from my neck and whispering in my ear, "Now you've done it," his hot breath spreading on the surface of my neck while his lips placed delicate kisses on my sweet spot, making me moan.

"Are you teasing me? he questioned, while staring into my eyes with his moonlit ones.

His lips turned hungrier as he brought his lips down to my collar bone and sucked lightly on my skin. Well, that was going to leave a mark.

He slowly backed my up until the back of my knees hit the foot of my bed. He swiftly pushed my body flat on the small bed and brought himself to hover on top of me. His cotton candy lips moved to my lips and I felt a heavenly sensation run rapidly through my body.

I was completely unprepared. You would think that after all the hours I'd spent with Josh- watching him talk, laugh and frown - that I would know all there was to know about his lips. But I hadn't imagined how warm they would feel pressed up against my own. I let out another moan as his tongue slipped into my mouth.

This is not what I'd thought would happen when he asked for 'more vague' but I'm certainly not going to object.

A kiss is one of the most sensual happenings, of course, I loved it. His lips was warm and tasted of mint; he had obviously been chewing gum earlier. His hands were wrapped around my waist and mine gripped on the the ends of his hair, tugging for more.

When we broke apart for air, I rested my forehead against his and gathered some much needed oxygen. His smirk told me everything and I smiled back, sinking into his hold.

He rolled over to lay beside me before speaking. "At least we didn't have to watch that path to hell, Frozen," he mused. I let out a small giggle before realising what we just did. I smiled at the thought alone.

"What are you smiling at?" Detective Joshua asked, confusingly. My smile grew bigger at his uncertainty.

"Nothing," I said while trying to hide my smile. He moved his hand so that it rest on my hips. "Don't say that to me. Tell me," he demanded playfully, while moving his had under my t-shirt and gently circling his thumb over the exposed skin. "Us." I quietly stated.

Josh smirked and brought his face closer towards mine. His lips inches from mine before he stopped at the sound of rustling. We both snapped our heads towards the origin of the sound to catch a glimpse of a small human. Lily.

Josh groaned as he figured out who it was. He got up from the bed and headed downstairs. I grabbed my phone and followed.

As soon as we reach the living room we find Lily sleeping soundly. But fake snoring. Josh chuckled at her failed attempt of fake sleeping. He crouched down next to her and poked her sides to see if she was awake. How dumb can Joshua get? 

"Don't do that! She might me sleeping!" I whisper shouted. He turned his head to face me, "We both know that's not true, Theresa."

Seriously? Theresa? Well, two can play the same game, Joshua.

"Are you sure, Joshua?" I teased. He turned his face away and continued poking Lily while trying not to smirk. Soon, Lily let out a giggle as Josh had hit her sensitive point. "Got you!" Joshua said in a 'ha, in your face' tone.

I raised and eyebrow at Joshua's childishness and walked over to sit beside Lily. Two against one, sweetheart. He gave me a challenging look once he'd figured out what game I was playing. "Where's the toilet?" Joshua asked, embarrassed. I smiled at his nervousness and got up to show him. "You stay here," he told Lily. As soon as we reached the bathroom, Josh pecked my lips before rushing into the toilet.

I headed back to Lily to find her fiddling with the TV remote. I took the remote from her and witched the TV on then turned my body to face her. She did the same. "So," I started, "Why were you fake sleeping?" She looked nervous to answer, as if she'd be in trouble if she gave the wrong answer.

She didn't say anything until she brought her mouth next to my ear and whispered, "I told you, he liked you," She smiled confidently as she knew that she was right.

Her smile turned into a frown as she looked behind my shoulder. I turned around to see Josh standing in the doorway.

"What was that?" he seriously questioned.

Why was he so serious about Lily talking to me?

"Nothing, just talking about Frozen," I casually replied and pointed at the screen. I turned to face the TV so it looked like we were watching the movie. Josh walked over to sit beside me. After a few movements of trying to get comfortable Josh whispered in my hear.

"This movie is dumb, Theresa." Joshua whines for the fifth time.

"Don't be such a girl," I wrap my arms around his torso and hug him close. "I bet you're tired," I say as his arms encircle my waist and his head on my lap

"Maybe," he murmurs with a tiny sigh. I smile happily as a few minutes in to the movie he's sleeping.
