[42] Adorable

Tess's POV

I didn't say a word to Josh on the way back home. I was completely under shock and didn't have the energy to do anything.

As we walked through the front door of my house, I had a sudden feeling of sickness rising up my throat. My eyes widened as I knew what was coming.

I instantly ran towards the bathroom and puked in the toilet. Seconds later, Josh had come and held my hair out of the way.

"You alright, Princess?" Josh asked, a worried expression on his face.

I ignored him and stood up to look at myself through the bathroom mirror.
My make up smudged all over my face, cheeks tinted pink from all the crying.

I had the urge to vomit again and let it all out- but didn't. I think it was the fact that Josh was here and I didn't want to embarrass myself anymore.

"Baby, you alright?" He asked once again. Instead if replying, I took a step towards him and wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him.

The heat radiating off him and soft clothing making me instantly soothe and calm down.

"Josh?" I tried catching his attention.
"Yeah,"
"Are you mad at me? For everything that happened with Tyler?" I nervously asked.

"No, no. It wasn't your fault," he gave my petite body a gentle squeeze before loosening his grip on me.

"Lets rest. We'll talk later. You go to your room and I'll get you some water and a pain killer," he gave me a reassuring smile, which I returned, and walked towards the kitchen.

I slowly made my way up the stairs but struggled as my knees were extremely weak.

As soon as I walked through my black painted bedroom door, I stopped dead in my tracks as I saw her standing at the foot of my bed.

"Is little Tessie upset? Come here, and I'll help you drain all the pain away. All it takes is one blade and a swift movement of your hand," she smirked.

"What happened? Why aren't you moving?" She yelled. "Let me help you," she smirked before rushing towards me and grabbing my ankles and hovering me upside down in mid air.

I let out a scream and instantly fell to the floor. Her hands found their way around my neck and squeezed so tight that I couldn't breath at all.

"Now, now Tessie. We don't want you're little boyfriend to get hurt do we? So I suggest you SHUT UP!" She yelled in my ear causing me to squeeze my body tight hoping she would go away.

She threw my weak body to the ground, making me scream loudly at the pain she just caused me.

"Tess!" I heard Josh yell while thumping footsteps were coming up the stairs.

I didn't want him to get hurt so I decided to reply as quick as possible. "I'm fine, Josh." I managed to yell- my voice cracking- but the storming footsteps didn't stop.

"Now you've done it," with that, her filthy hand met my cheek, stinging my skin. Tears rolled out if my eyes endlessly and that was when she disappeared.

Less than a second later, Josh had reached my bedroom. "Oh my God, Tess. Are you alright?" He speed walked towards me and knelt down on one knee and helped me stand up.

"What happened?" He asked worriedly.

I didn't reply for a while because there was no voice coming out. "Come here, Princess,"he said in a calming tone.

I moved close to Josh as he reached out his arms for a hug. "I think you've had enough drama for a day. Lets both go to sleep," he said while motioning to my bed.

"I'm gonna get changed," I managed to say- my voice hoarse.
I moved away from Josh and walked to my wardrobe to get out a part of shorts and a t-shirt.

I didn't care if Josh was staring at me while I got changed because I was too tired to go into the bathroom.

As I took off my denim shorts and white crop top, Josh's jaw feel to the ground.

"Damn, I have a hot girlfriend," he mumbled to himself, not realising what he said. As soon as he realised what he'd just said, his eyes widened. "I- I-" he stammered.

I couldn't help but smile at his carelessness. I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his neck and straddled my body on his.

"Damn, I have a sexy boyfriend," I whispered in his ear before kissing his cheek and getting off him.

"Where do you think you're going?" He seductively said while gripping my wrist to stop me from moving any further away from him.

"Let me get changed, Josh," I whined. I was only wearing my bra and underwear.

"Noooo," He whined like a child whose toy just got taken away from him.

I yanked my hand out of his grip and walked to my wardrobe to wear a Onsie instead.

"You look adorable," he cooed at me. I furrowed my eyebrows and made a disgusting face.

"What?" He said confusingly.

"You called me adorable," I smiled and have him a small peck on his lips, embracing the sweetness of his lips.
