The next morning Jesy woke up two hours earlier than usual even though she wasn't allowed at school. The house was quiet and dark. It was about four thirty. She left Leigh-Anne asleep in her bed hoping that she wouldn't realize that she left.

Jesy moved silently down the hall to Princeton and Ray Ray's room and knocked softly.

Ray Ray answered the door almost instantly opening it a crack. "Why are you up so early?" was the first thing he said.

"I need to talk to Princeton." Jesy mumbled grudgingly.

"Princeton you have a visitor." Ray Ray said into the room.

Princeton came out into the hall and closed the door behind him. "What is it Jes?"

"Don't call me that." Jesy snapped. "I need you to do me a favour." Jesy looked around to make sure no one was listening or watching.

"What is it?" Princeton asked curious.

"I've been suspended as you know, so I can't go to school. I need you to take care of Leigh-Anne while I'm not there."

"You mean like I used to before you took her from me?" Princeton asked.

Jesy growled. "No. Before I 'took' her from you she was fine . . . Now though I need you to stay by her side no matter what. Don't let her walk through the hallways by herself, don't let her sit anywhere but next to you, and don't ask her any questions because she doesn't like to talk about it."

Princeton realized that Jesy was acting like he didn't know about what had happened to Leigh-Anne. He refrained from telling her that he knew. He nodded his understanding.

"Keep her safe even if it costs you your good grades and perfect attendance or else I'll be forced to hurt you." Jesy growled. "And I mean it. I know your tough and all but if you screw this up I will not rest until your flesh is between my teeth even if it kills me." She was serious.

Princeton took in this threat calmly. "You don't need to threaten me. I always have Leigh-Anne's best interests at heart." He spoke in a soft voice.

Jesy groaned. "I know." She said somewhat sadly.

She stalked off to the kitchen deciding to make Leigh-Anne breakfast. Jesy was no chef but she would try. In ten minutes she was bringing a tray of waffles, toast, baccon and apple juice up to her room. She set the tray on her bedside table and sat next to Leigh-Anne.

"Leigh-Leigh." Jesy cooed.

"Hmmm?" Leigh-Anne opened up her eyes. "Hi Jes . . ."

"It's time to eat something. We didn't eat lastnight . . . are you hungry?" Jesy said sweetly.

Leigh-Anne shook her head. "Not hungry." She mumbled.

"But babe you have to." Jesy begged. "For me?" Jesy batted her eyelashes.

Leigh-Anne groaned. "Fine." She sat up.

Jesy took up a waffle and took a small bite. "Mmmm. It's good." She said.

She then held it up to Leigh-Anne's mouth. Leigh-Anne took a small bite and echoed Jesy, "Mmmm. It's good."

They continued like this until everything was done then did the same with the juice. Both girls then brushed their teeth and Leigh-Anne got dressed for school. They sat back on Jesy's bed.

"Now Leigh . . . I can't go to school today but we both know that Mum is going to make you. I've done all of your homework and I packed your bag last night. Don't worry I double checked my spelling and everything." Jesy started off the little speech she had thought of as she got Leigh-Anne breakfast.
