Bethany's POV
We were all worried about Shay she hadn't spoken for hours and then she just gets up and heads towards the bathroom. Moments passed, but then we heard the shower turn on and then she started singing.
"Guys I'm calling the boys" Abby said quickly calling their number. "You guys have to come over" Abby said desperation clear in her voice. "yeah it's Shay, we kinda know what's wrong, she is barely talking and has just walked into the bathroom, she could, you know be hurt" the last part Abby said in a hushed tone.
"The boys will be here in five minutes" Abby announced, walking over to sit next to me leaning against the bathroom door.
The time was ticking and we were growing more and more worried by the minute. Shay had a hard life, her father was a drug addict that cheated on her mom and had a new girlfriend every month, and her mother was a psychopath, who never understood Shay's emotional being. When she was only a year old, her mother wanted to leave the country with her, so her father took her to court.
Shay spent two years of her life going in and out of courtrooms, and observation rooms, before they finally decided she would stay in the country but only see her father once a month for to days. The court case was different to others as, well her father was a drug addict and her mother was foreign.
A knock came from the door, that must be the boys, wow it had already been five minutes.
"umm, hi" a worried looking Michael stood at the door. Standing up I made my way over to him hoping my urge to hug him wasn't to obvious.
"hey, come in" I said trying to keep my voice quiet and in a hushed tone. It was awkward for a few moments, we all just stood there looking around the room. Holy shit 5sos were in my room, including Calum I was kinda surprised he came, we all were. He was currently hiding behind Luke's tall frame and looking at his feet and biting his nails.
"where is she?" Calum quickly demanded breaking our uncomfortable silence. The shower was still running but it didn't seem like anybody was under the water, what was she doing?
"she's in the shower, Hood" Abby said 'hood' in disgust.
"oh, when will she be out?" he asked. Agh what was with all the questions.
"I don't know she has been in there for the past twenty minutes, and won't answer us or open the door" I yelled fed up with his questions. At this Calum stayed quiet for a while at least. A few moments passed and we heard something drop inside the shower, and then a bang.
"that's it I'm, going in there" Calum announced loudly walking towards the bathroom door. "Shay open the goddamn door now" he said through door, his voice annoyed and slightly angry. We waited hoping for a reply but we received none and that scared me.
Even though Shay would never admit in a million years, she liked Calum like a lot, that and she was extremely sassy and would never let a boy or anyone get away with talking to her like that.
Calum continued to bang on the door, his hits getting stronger by the minute and I was worried for the safety for my door and the naked Shay behind it.
"STOP IT, STOP IT STOP IT... please don't yell anymore!" Shay screamed from the other side of the door. After that it was silence, the shower continued to run and Calum had slid down the door now kneeling on the floor. Us girls looked at each other, so it was the yelling and her past after all.
She must have been having an anxiety attack again, that's how we named our band. We created it whilst Shay was having a really hard time with her family and called it 'Little Anxiety' to show her, there was nothing to be afraid of and we were there for her.
"come on, I'll cook us some breakfast" I said, pushing everybody out the door, everybody except Calum. The boys gave Calum an expectant look before shutting the door behind them whilst the girls gave him the death glare that would take out the human population.
