P.O.V: The Doctor

"Once the breach collapses, that's it. You will never be able to see her again. Your own mother!" I told Rose. She had just come from the parallel world to this one using the medallion, and she wasn't going anywhere.

"I made my choice a long time ago, and I'm never going to leave you." She said defiantly. "So what can I do to help?" I decided to focus on the job at hand right now, and try not to think about how she would drop everything, for me.

"Systems rebooted. Open access." The computer said.

"Those coordinates over there, set them all at six. And hurry up." I told her, and she walked over to the terminal and took off her medallion.

"We've got Cybermen on the way up." She noted.

"How many floors down?"

"Just one." Okay, this was going to have to be fast. "Levers operational." The computer said.

"That's more like it. Bit of a smile, the old team." Rose smiled at me.

"Hope and Glory, Mutt and Jeff, Shiver and Shake." I laughed back.

"Which one's Shiver?" She asked.

"Oh, I'm Shake." I responded. I handed her a Magnaclamp and we put them on the walls by the levers.

"Press the red button." I told her. "When it starts, just hold on tight. Shouldn't be too bad for us but the Daleks and the Cybermen are seeped in Void stuff. Are you ready?"

"So are they." She said. The Daleks were visible out of the window.

"Let's do it!" I cried. We pushed the levers up and grabbed the Magnaclamps.

"Online." The computer said. The wall at the end of the hall turned into a bright white light and strong wind rushed into it, sucking all the Daleks and Cybermen into the Void.

"Emergency!" The Daleks cried.

"The breach is open! Into the Void! Ha!" I shouted in excitement. I looked over at Rose on the other side of the room, her lever shifted a little bit.

"Offline." I heard the computer say. The suction started to decrease, but as I watched Rose I got a horrible feeling in my stomach. I saw as Rose let go of the Magnaclamp and tried to push the lever back to the original spot, but she and the lever were being pulled the wrong way.

"I've got to get it upright!" She hollered over the winds of the suction, and she managed it.

"Online and locked." The computer said. The suction built up even more, and I yelled over to her, "Rose, hold on! Hold on!" I knew I couldn't reach her from here, and I knew what was going to happen now. She was holding on the lever with all her strength, but I saw her fingers slipping. She would be sucked into the Void, along with the Daleks and Cybermen!

Then I saw it. Her fingers slipped from the lever, and she began to fly towards the open breach, into the Void.

"Rose!" I screamed. This couldn't be happening, I couldn't lose her. "NOOO!"

But it was no use. As I screamed and tried to comprehend what was actually happening here, I saw Pete Tyler appear using his medallion, and he caught Rose before she was sucked into the Void. She turned and looked at me, her face filled with sadness and shock. Then she was gone. The winds died down, and the Void closed slowly, and a wall was there where the breach was. Rose was gone, and I would never see her again.

"Systems closed." The computer said.
