Hurt

I look between Brooke and Eren.

"Are we really doing this?" I ask

"We've been over this a million times. We're helping people. How many innocents do you think these people capture and kill? They call us monsters? Then what are they." Brooke snaps

Just then, a CCG truck drives by sleepily. I feel my kagune start to snake out. Violently, it lashes forward right in front of the truck.

The truck slams into my kagune. Yes, it hurts. but we can't stop now.

Erens kagune dives straight into the center of the truck, creating a large hole. A small girl and her grandparents climb out. By this time, the CCG investigators are out and pulling out their quinquae.

But Brooke starts aggressively hitting them from the sides. I jump down and lead the prisoners to safety. I snap their handcuffs easily and they're running away.

That's when Brooke screams.

I whip around. An investigator has cut off her calf. It'll regenerate, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. Eren pulls her to the side, but the investigator is about to go in again.

I feel the air whip around me as my kagune goes mad. I double over from the sheer size it's grown to. I laugh as it shoots straight for the investigator.

Both of them. I've got both of them now. They're screaming and whacking me with their quinquaes but I don't care. I feel like the kraken.

"That's good enough!" Eren screams at me

I look between him and the investigators. That's good enough.

I gently set them down inside their truck. I smash the doors in so they can't get out. CCG will simply cut the doors out.

Eren carries Brooke back home while I stay in the lead, moving any obstacles. We use our kagunes so that we get there faster. Brooke is already done regenerating.

Once inside, we all pass out.
