Our first course is practically silent, but somehow, it's pleasant. After I finish my soup, I push my bowl away and pull out my phone to find a new text from Louis.

Louis: u know u never answered my question

Harry: what question?

Louis: whether or not u like me

Harry: of course I like you. I'm out with you right now, aren't I?

I glance up and see Louis blushing, a cute smile on his face.

Louis: okay, that's good

Louis: it's just sometimes u don't act like u do

Harry: well we don't know each other vey well, that's all

Louis: that's no reason not to like someone

Harry: idk

Harry: do you like me?

Louis: gtg

I frown and look up at him with a scowl. He has a proud smirk on his face, and after a second, he gestures towards his phone, and I look down at mine.

Louis: jk sorry I couldn't resist

Louis: but yes, I do

Louis: I mean how could I not? ur the hottest guy in the entire world

I blush deep red and set down my phone. I don't know why I do it, but I push Louis over gently in the booth and sit beside him, wrapping my arms around him for a nice side-hug. He sits frozen for a second, before wrapping an arm around my waist and leaning my head into his shoulder. He clears his throat a little and I assume he's asking me to move, so I begin to pull away. He bars me from getting up by locking his arms around my waist. I glance up at him, and he smiles a little. "I was clearing my throat just to say, you're better than I ever could have imagined."
