"Come on, Harry. Cheer up. It's not the end of the world." Niall punches me lightly in the arm, and holds out a beer for me.

I shrug him off and stare down at my hands. They're white from wringing each other, and they're tingling from being clenched. "It kind of is the end of the world. At least for me."

Niall frowns, and gives Liam a worried look. Liam puts his hand on my shoulder, and frowns. "Harry, it's all going to work out. Just give it time-"

"Bullshit! Louis chose Ethan, okay? Get over yourself!" I try not to, but I feel tears stream down my cheeks, and turn away to avoid their pitiful stares.

"Harry, calm down, mate. It's really okay." Niall leads me to the couch, and rubs my back gently. "Let's talk this out, yeah?"

Liam takes my hand in his, and sits down on the other side of me. "Yeah, you're okay. Like I said, we're in this together. You're not alone, Harry."

I sob quietly, and pull them both into a tight hug. "I love you guys so much. Thank you."

Liam coos, and pats my knee gently. "We love you too, Harry. Now, let's figure this out."

I nod, and Liam pulls the blanket from the chaise and lays it across my lap. "Okay, Harry. I'm going to call Louis and ask him what's going on. Then if you're up for it, maybe you could talk to him."

I feel the colour drain from my face, and consider saying no, but I grit my teeth and force myself to nod. "O-okay. Yeah."

Niall pats my shoulder sympathetically, and nods as Liam pulls out his mobile phone. I'm not entirely sure if I'm ready to talk to Louis yet. And what if this just seems needy and childish? Maybe this isn't the best idea. I put up my hand to stop Liam, but before I can, I hear a knock on Liam's front door.

Liam sets down his phone, and smiles. "That must be the takeout I ordered. Be right back."

He disappears down the hall for a second, and I hear a loud thud and then someone gasps. "Holy shit, Louis are you okay?"
