I feel like nothing matters anymore. I mean, what's the point? My favourite person in the entire world, the person whom I love most and poured my heart out to, doesn't want me.

It's that simple. Louis just doesn't want me. No matter how hard I try and convince myself otherwise, I've come to realise the inevitable: I wasn't good enough.

"Harry, are you sure you're okay? No offence, but you look terrible. What happened?" Liam asks loudly over the smoothie he's blending.

I scoop some ice into a cup, filling it with chai tea and condensed milk. "Gee, thanks, Liam. And nothing happened, I'm fine. Just leave me alone, I'm in a shitty mood."

"Okay, whatever. Just know that I'm here if you want to talk, mate."

I nod, trying my best to smile appreciatively at him. "Thanks."

After a minute, his face contorts. "This is about Louis, isn't it?"

I scowl at him, and mutter, "What makes you say that?"

"Well, to start, Louis never talks about you anymore, and you don't talk about him. And Niall said you've been drinking more than usual, so something must be wrong. Harry, just tell me what's going on!"

I chuckle darkly, and hand a customer their iced tea. "You want to know what's going on? Louis dumped me. He chose Ethan. The love of my life chose an abusive asshat over me."

Liam's jaw drops. "What? Louis picked Ethan? Well, fuck. Don't worry, I'll talk some sense into him."

I shake my head. "It's no use. He doesn't want me anymore, Liam. If he doesn't like me enough to even consider picking me, then there's no point. He doesn't need me like I need him."

Liam looks sad. But he shakes his head, and tuts his tongue. "That's not true, Harry. I've seen you two together, you're perfect for each other. And cut him some slack. You don't know how Louis made his choice. Ethan might have found out about you and forced Louis to stay in that relationship. So, cut the mopey shit, okay? We'll figure this out. Together."
