Chapter 11

Lauren had made her way to the courtyard, finding Ally, Normani and Dinah at their normal spot. She couldn't get her mind off Paige and their earlier conversation. Yes, the fact that Camila doesn't remember her bothers Lauren but it's not like she doesn't care? As Lauren sat down she noticed Dinah's tone.

"Every year. I swear I am not going this time." She finished.

"I mean it would be okay if they were every once in a while, but every weekend? And sometimes on weekdays? It's just too much." Said Normani.

"Hi Lauren." Ally was the only one that took note of the brunette.

Lauren smiled and turned to Dinah and Normani. "What're you two talking about?"

"Hey Lo. We're talking about the party spree shit that's gonna happen soon." Said Dinah as she put air quotes around "party spree."

"And what's wrong with that? Just don't go to them?" Lauren took a sip of her drink.

"Well Lo that's just the problem, it doesn't matter if you go or not you still get dragged into the bullshit afterwards." Explained Normani. " I mean Dinah and I had to leave one because it got so outta hand. They're crazy."

"Yeah!" Dinah chimed in. "They have drugs, alcohol, and other shit we've never even heard about."

"Well I don't know what to tell you I mean-"

"Excuse me?" Lauren was interrupted by another girl tapping on her shoulder.

"Uh yes?" Lauren turned around to see a mid sized girl with long brown hair. She had never seen this her before and could barley see her eyes due to her scene look.

"Uh have any of you-"

"Hey you little shit!" Another girl ran up to the group, she looked similar but she had red hair.

"Kelly where have you been?" She scolded the smaller girl and looked at the group as she scrunched her nose.

"I'm sorry I was looking-"

"Why're you with them?" Said the red haired girl.

"Harper I wasn't-" Kelly tried to speak when Dinah spoke up.

"And what's wrong with us?" She looked between the two scene girls and then to Lauren, whom was shaking her head.

"Oh nothing I just-" Before Harper could finish Dinah stood up.

"You just what?" She took a step forward.

"Dinah sit down." Lauren stood up between the three girls.

"Is there a problem here?" Another voice came from behind Lauren. She turned around to see yet another scene girl this one with grayish hair.

"Kelly, Harper get the fuck outta here." Said the girl, she seemed to be the oldest of the group.

"But-" Harper tried to intervene but stopped when she got a look from the eldest.

"Sorry about them." The girl sighed and looked at Dinah. "I'm Skylar." She put her hand out to shake, but the Polynesian kept her fists balled up. "Alright. I see we're gonna have problems, so I'll leave you to it. Bye." With that she walked off after the two girls.

"Wow that was interesting." Said Normani. Lauren turned around to look at Dinah.

"Yeah it was, what the hell was that about?" Asked Lauren as her and Dinah sat down.

"I didn't like them." Dinah shrugged.

"Well for a person that doesn't like to be in drama, you sure have some now." Said Lauren.

"Yeah Dinah that was quite a show you put on." Said Ally.

"Okay I get it!" Said Dinah. "Can we just forget about it?"

"Fine." Said Normani.

"Besides I wanna know why you were late getting here Lo?" Dinah gave her a concerned look. Lauren bit her lip and played with her water bottle.

"I uh." She looked around at all the girls and sighed. "I ran into Paige." Ally looked confused.

"Paige? You mean the one Dinah-"

"Hates? Yeah her." Lauren looked at Dinah. "Sorry."

"Don't worry about it. I've got bigger problems, than to deal with a slut." Dinah was glancing over Lauren's shoulder, the group looked to find her and Harper glaring. If looks could kill the two girls would be ten feet under.
