Lauren walked through the hallways, she was late for her stats class, Monday's were not her thing. Turning the corner she stopped in her tracks upon hearing an angelic voice. She became curious and set off to find the source of the music. Opening the door of the music room, Lauren found Camila sitting at a piano. She smiled as she watched the young girl belt out every signal note with so much passion. Camila finished and sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"Wow." Lauren spoke up, making Camila quickly turn around, wide eyed and embarrassed. "No don't stop." She approached the brunette and sat down, "How is it that I seem to find one more beautiful thing about you, each day?" Lauren smiled into the brown orbs and noticed how Camila had been dressed. A red beanie sat atop her head, she was wearing a worn black sweatshirt with jeans and white converse. Comfortable and messy, though Lauren still thought she looked flawless.

"Aren't you supposed to be in your stats class?" Camila blushed and looked down to her hands, nervously.

"Yeah, but I'd rather be here with you than listen to stupid lectures."Lauren laughed as did Camila. She bit her lip and met Camila's gaze, "play something?"

The brunette smiled, her nerves seemed to fade away as she turned to the piano and played a few chords. "What would you like to hear?"

"Anything."

Camila eyed Lauren in thought and smiled, "Well there's this song that I can't seem to get out of my head." She giggled, "It reminds me of you, of us."

Lauren blushed, "Play it."

The young girl nodded and placed her hands atop the white keys before taking in a deep breath. The sound of the piano filled the room as Camila effortlessly played each note. Lauren was completely mesmerized, her heart started pounding when Camila started to sing.

"You and I
We're like fireworks and symphonies exploding in the sky.
With you I'm alive, like all the missing pieces of my heart they finally collide."

Camila's voice filled the room, Lauren watched as she hit every note perfectly. The words touched the emerald eyed girl, she felt her eyes start to water. She felt like the luckiest girl to have an amazing girlfriend like Camila. The brunette finished the dog and looked over to Lauren.

"You're amazing." Lauren whispered.

Camila laughed, "I'm alright, wanna try?" Lauren wiped her eyes and shook her head in laughter.

"Sorry Camz but I can't play." She ran a hand through her hair.

"That's okay I'll teach you." She stood up and leaned behind Lauren, resting her head on her shoulder.

Lauren grew nervous by her girlfriends touch, she could feel Camila's warm breath as she placed a kiss on her cheek before she whispered.

"Pick a song."

"There ya go!" Lauren smiled as Camila finished playing the last note.

"I did it!" Camila smiled, "Oh my gosh I actually did it!" She clapped her hands as Lauren got up.

"I told you you could." She looked over to the clock seeing that she had missed her whole softball practice helping Camila. "Hey I have to go, I kinda just missed all of my practice." She laughed and rubbed the back of her neck.

"Oh, did I make you miss it?" Camila stood up, "I'm so sorry Lauren."

"Don't worry about it, it was totally worth missing." Lauren backed towards the door as Camila blushed.

"Wait!" The smaller girl tackled Lauren in a hug and giggled, "Thank you Lauren."

The oldest wrapped her arms around Camila she felt as though nothing could hurt the young one as long as she held her. "Just keep at it Camz." Lauren could feel her eyes sting as they pulled back. She left Camila with a smile and closed the door. Leaning against it, Lauren felt the warm tear trail down her cheek and sighed when she heard the music begin once more.
