Lauren walked outside, the cool air hitting her face. She could feel the warm tears falling down her cheeks as she made her way across the lawn and to the car. Her mind was everywhere it felt as though the weight of the world fell on her shoulders. The dark haired girl got to the car opening the door, she ran a hand through her locks and winced at the pain surging up her arm.
"Oh my gosh, Lauren! Are you okay?" Taylor scooted over the console and got a better look at the older girl's hand. Lauren set her wrists atop the steering wheel burying her head between them. "What's on your hands Lo?!" Taylor became nervous as she stared at the orange substance.
Lauren picked her head up and examined her hands. She rubbed them together in attempt to get the dried blood to come off, only making the pain shoot up her arm once more. She flexed the bones cringing, before starting the car.
"Lauren." Taylor placed her hand on Lauren's leg making the dark haired girl flinch, a look of terror in her eyes, "let me drive you're in no shape-"
"No!" She spoke up and gripped onto the wheel before gently pressing the acceleration.
"Lauren stop!" Taylor swung her door open making the older girl slam on the breaks.
"Taylor what the hell!" Lauren threw her hands on top of wheel, not caring about the pain. "I can do it!" Taylor made her way to the other side of the car and helped Lauren to the passenger seat before taking over.
"I can do it.." Said Lauren before she rested her head in her hands and sobbed the rest of the way home.

"Lo, we're home." Taylor looked to Lauren as the older girl got out and made her way inside, leaving Taylor to follow behind. She sat on the couch and stared off, thinking about the previous events while rubbing at her hand. She thought of the look in Camila's eyes as she shouted at her. The look of confusion and anger. How could she have said all of those awful things, what if she had hurt her.
"Is there anything I can do?" Taylor sat across from Lauren and frowned when she shook her head. "I'll be right back." The youngest made her way into the kitchen, getting a warm towel and bringing it back to the living room. "Lemme see," she outstretched her hand for Lauren to take, slowly, she wiped the excess blood off her hands careful to not put too much pressure on the sensitive areas.
"Lo I think your hand might be broken." Taylor examined Lauren's knuckles, they were swollen and were beginning to take on a shade of purple.
"I'll be fine." She took her hand away from her sister and finally met her gaze. "Thank you." She gave Taylor a smile before looking down at her hands. And began to replay the night in her head, each time she closed her eyes the brown orbs would be there, looking terrified.
"Would you like to talk about what happened in that house?" Taylor bit her lip as she asked slowly, not wanting to push Lauren over again.
The green eyed girl sighed and closed her eyes before explaining the events that had occurred. It seemed like a blur in the moment, but once she started explaining the details of her night the images of the party became more and more vivid. Taylor would gasp at parts, when she told her about hitting Harper, the drugs, and, of course, Camila's drunk state. It took everything in Lauren to not breakdown in front of her sister, she had to be strong.
"That's awful. I'm so sorry." Taylor spoke once Lauren had finished.
"Don't sweat it." Lauren laughed sarcastically, "I knew it was all too good to be true."
