Chapter 19

The week flew by the girls would hang out every night, it was beginning to feel normal, until today.

"It's finally the weekend!" Said Dinah, "We get a week off of school, this is great."

"Right, thank God it's friday." Normani laughed.

"So are we meeting at Camila's house tonight?" Asked Ally.

"Actually guys I'm having family night tonight, "Camila said as she closed her locker. "Sorry."

Lauren gave her a confused look.

"Oh, okay so nothing tonight then?" Asked Dinah.

"How about you Lauren?" Normani turned to the emerald eyed girl.

"Sorry guys I need to rest, softball has been kicking my ass."

"Ugh alright see you guys later then." Dinah, Normani and Ally walked off leaving Camila and Lauren.

"Well see you later then," Said Camila giving her a smile.

"Alright, tell Sofi I said hi," Lauren laughed as she turned to walked off.

Lauren got home and threw herself on her bed she was so exhausted. With all the homework and tests she's done lately, on top of that being on the varsity softball team doesn't help either.

"Hey Lauren!"

The brunette looked up to find Taylor standing in the doorway.

"Hey goofball, what's up?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to go see a movie?"

"I'm exhausted as hell, but sure what movie?" Lauren sat up and plugged her phone to charge.

"Not sure yet I'll go see, It'll be later so is that alright?" Taylor shyly smiled.

"Yeah that's okay"

"Yay!" The young girl clapped her hands together and ran off.

Lauren took this as an opportunity to get cleaned up. She took a long shower and, like always, thought about everything. One thing she couldn't get her mind off was Camila. She was overjoyed about the fact that they we talking again. Hanging out every night with the brunette was more than she could ever ask for. Everything was finally falling into place.

Lauren got out of the shower and fixed her hair, and makeup before picking out an outfit for the night. She decided to wear black leggings, combat boots, a white t-shirt and her signature leather jacket. She glanced into the mirror and took a deep breath before heading downstairs to find Taylor.

"What movie did you pick?" Asked Lauren as she grabbed a bag of chips and fell onto the couch.

"Is it okay if we go see The Visit?" Taylor looked up from her phone and rose and eyebrow.

"Yeah that's fine, when does it start?"

"Eight."

"Taylor that's in thirty minutes." Lauren's jaw dropped as she checked her phone.

"I know." The young girl giggled.

"So go get in the car mama." She laughed.

The movie was half way through when Lauren got a text from Dinah.

"Do you know where Mila is at?! I went to her house to get my charger and she wasn't there!"

Lauren read the text a couple times before replying, "She said she was having a family night?"

"Her parents said that she said she was gonna be with me!"
