Percy
I stayed at Nico's place the whole day. I stared at my phone, there were dozens of calls from Annabeth, some from Thalia and even one from Leo. I didn't want to talk to anybody, I just wanted to sit here.
Will fed me some plants to help me relax, Nico stayed with me to talk but we hardly said anything to one another, Rachel left midday but she said we should go back to my dreams again tonight. I laid on the couch all day, I hardly moved, only to use the bathroom or to eat though I hardly ate.
The worst part was, I wasn't even thinking about what I needed to chose. I already knew the answer, I was just figuring out a way I was going to tell Annabeth.
Soon, it was late. Rachel had come over once more and we prepared to go back to my dreams. "Wait!" exclaimed Nico, running inside. "What? What's wrong?" I asked, sitting up. "Its Annabeth, she's coming" he said softly. Rachel looked down at me with an apologetic look. "Oh, okay. Uh, we can do this later" I said, getting off the couch and walking outside, not saying a word to anyone.
I went and sat outside the small graveyard near Nico's house. It was creepy, especially in the moonlight but I sat here and waited for Annabeth. I saw headlights through the woods, I sighed, standing up.
Our car pulled into view, Annabeth pulled over. Immediately, she ran out of the car and stomped over to me. "You are in big trouble mister!" screamed Annabeth, waving her finger at me. I put my hands in my pockets, looking down at the ground. I was too tired to fight. "I cannot believe you right now? You missed the damn doctors appointment just because of a little hissy fit you threw last night?" she cried, throwing her hands in the air.
"I mean, you didn't even call! I was terrified something happened and you're fine? I've got news for you Percy! Get over it! Come home you dumby!" she cried. I didn't look up, my breathing was shallow as I listened to her words. "What? Now you can't even look at me? Grow up!" Annabeth cried.
Annabeth grabbed my arm, I looked up at her. She looked furious. "You had better be dying or so help me-" she growled. I bit my lip, Annabeth's face fell. "Annabeth-" I whispered, unsure of what to say. "No" Annabeth sighed, crossing her arms. Tears filled my eyes, I stepped forward, wrapping my arms around her. "Percy, I-" Annabeth said in my arms. "I know" I replied, holding her closer.
When everything calmed down, I took her inside. Rachel was waiting for us, with Will and Nico. "Okay, how do we fix this, how do we keep Percy alive?" asked Annabeth, sitting down on the couch next to me.
"There is a way" Rachel said looking up at me. I shook my head. "No, we are not doing that. I am not letting that happen" I said clearly. I wasn't going to let our camp go to war because I didn't want to die.
"What? What is it?" asked Annabeth, taking my hand in her own. Rachel sighed, looking over to her. "We have seen two possible futures. One, our camp is at war. Percy didn't go on the mission and it failed, the Russians declared war and found New Rome. Countless lives are lost but Percy lives".
"And the other?" asked Annabeth, leaning in. I took a deep breath and looked up at her. "I go on the mission, the camp is saved and the Russians are defeated but I die. You and the kids, you move on. You get with this guy, Mason. You're happy" I said.
I knew I was lying about Annabeth being happy, it was painfully obvious that wasn't the case. I wanted nothing more than for her to be happy. It hurt me to see her sad but if it meant saving everyone else's lives, I had to. What kind of world would my kids have to grow up in if there was a war?
Nico cleared his throat and we all looked up at him. "Sorry to interrupt but we need to get to camp. Now" he said. I stood up, Annabeth behind me. "Whats going on?" Annabeth asked, grabbing my arm. "There's been a disturbance in the Underworld. I've felt it for a while, I think its coming to camp. We need to warn Chiron and Frank" he said softly.

Percabeth Part 2
