Jack's Pov
I got done with both my videos for the day, it was only around 12:00, I was up checking my phone every now and then. I felt like I needed to have a little time to myself just so I could plan next week. I got up and went to Lily's room to let her know I was going for a walk, after that I went to my room and grabbed my jacket and walked out the door. It was raining but, it didn't really bother me.
(Short Time Skip)
I was walking downtown, when I noticed a girl, she looked around my age maybe a year younger, A/N in this book I'm making Sean 21! She was sitting on a bench, with her knes up to her chest, she was wearing a short sleeve shirt, so I decided to help her out.
"Hey, you alright there?" She looked at me with her blue eyes
"Yeah, I'm fine just c- cold" she said with an american accent
"Here" I said, taking off my Jacket and putting it around her
"T- thank You, you are very kind sir"
I reached out my hand "its Jack, but you can call me Sean if you'd like" she shook my hand "Emily, Emily Johnson" I smiled her and nodded "Do you have any were to stay?" She shook her head "You can come stay with me if you'd like"
"But we literally just met, I don't know you"
"Well, that doesn't mean we can't get to know each other" she nodded "fine, I'll trust you"
She got up and we started walking side by side "So, You have a job?" I asked trying to maybe start conversation "I'm a Nurse, but since I just came here recently, I haven't gotten a chance to look if there were any spots available. Do you have a job?"
"Yeah, I do Youtube" she nodded
Even though I'm just learning about Emily, I have to say, she's a very pretty girl "You have any family? Wife? Kid?" She said "Just one daughter, adopted" she nodded.
It quickly got awkward between the both us, I'm guessing she didn't know what to say either, but she broke the silence "Thank you, for helping me and letting me stay with you" I smiled at her "you're very welcome, glad I could help" we finally got to my apartment and walked in.
