Coffee Accident

Lily's Pov

This was it! I finally got a job! I can't wait to tell Jack, I know he's going to be excited.

I walked through the apartment door. I found Sean at the kitchen table "Sean, I got a job" I squealed. He looked up at me "Really?! Are you serious!?" I nodded.

He got up and hugged me "I'm so proud of you honey! When do you start?"

"Monday" I said smiling. Sean smiled back at me, we hugged once more, and I walked to my bedroom.

I work at a coffee shop, and I get paid minimum wage, which isn't too bad, I just can't wait to start!

(Time Skip)

Yay! Its Monday! I finally start my job today. I had just arrived at the coffee shop, it wasn't as packed but there was a pretty decent amount of people.

When I walked in, I was immediately put to work, serving coffee like crazy! But then there was this young man. He looked it least a year older than me.

I was so focused on him, I ended up spilling his coffee all over him "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"

"No, no, no, no, it's okay, it's fine, I understand it was a complete accident!" He said in a Irish accent.

"Ill get another coffee for you, it's on the house" I said. He nodded at me, and I was off to make the nice man another coffee.

I came back with what he ordered, and this time I was careful. "Here you are, sorry about the first time, I'm a little clumsy" I said shyly.

He chuckled "First day?"

"Yeah, how'd you know?" I asked

"I've been coming here for ages, love. Plus you have an American accent, all of the workers here are Irish" he said and smirked.

I smiled back at him and started to walk away "Uh, Miss!" I turned back around "Yes?" The man smiled at me "Thanks for the coffee" he winked at me "Your welcome" I smiled.

(Mini time skip XD)

I went back that guys table, just to see if he was done with his coffee. But his table was empty, he must've already left. I picked up his empty mug of coffee, I then noticed a note on the table along with a $10 tip.

The note read "Thanks for the coffee again! See you next time :)"

I smiled to myself, and went back to work.

A/N okay, so this next part has no relation to coffee, or the new character, in any sort of way, I just wanted to add it because why not! XD

Jacks Pov

I rinsed out my coffee cup at the sink. I heard footsteps running down the hall, must be the kids. I turned around to find Sammy and Casey "Daddy, me and Casey have a question for you" I smiled, I have a good feeling about this.

"Where do babies come from?" And that feeling is gone.

I stared blankly at my kids "Uh...babies come from the...ocean" I'm a good Dad!

My kids gave me a weird look as if they we're saying 'What...that doesn't make sense. Why would you tell us that!'

"I came from the Ocean!?" They both screamed. I chuckled. Honestly, I wanted to burst out in laughter "Just, just go play" I said, and with that, both kids ran back down the hall.
