A wounded soldier

I woke up the next day very tired, but I still had to get up. I got dressed and walked out to the living room to see Mark sitting on the couch. I sat next to him and gave him a hug. Since Sean was in the living room also he looked at me and said "Lily, you know your grounded, go back to your room, young lady" I held Marks hand tightly. Mark looked at Jack "Jack we need to talk, its about Lily and your girlfriend" luckily Ava wasn't around to hear us "What about my girlfriend and Lily?" Sean asked "Sean, your girlfriend has been abusing Lily" I started crying, Mark put his arm around me to comfort me. Sean gave us a suprised look and speak of the devil, Ava came out from down the hallway "Hey Jack, what's going on?" Sean gave her an angry look "Really? You thinks its funny don't ya?"

"Jack what are you talking about?"

"Abusing MY daughter, I'm done with you, get out of my apartment" I held Mark's hand more tightly. I looked up to see Ava grabbing a knife from the knife set on the counter and stabbing Sean in his shoulder A/N see I told you he would get stabbed in the shoulder! Sean screamed in pain holding his shoulder as he fell to the ground. I quickly ran over to him and supported his head with my hand while my other was on his wound. "Sean!" I sobbed
"Lily, I'm so sorry, you're ungrounded, I love you. Mark, take Lily and call the police" Mark grabbed me and took me out to the apartment hallway. "Mark we can't just leave him, he'll die"

"I know Lily, just hang on a sec" Mark held onto me while calling the police

(Time Skip)
The police arrived shortly and took Ava away, they put Sean on a gurney and took him to the hospital. I sat there shivering because I was scared. I decided to go lay down, hopefully laying in Sean's bed shouldn't break me down.

Marks Pov
After all the police were gone, I found Lily in Jack's bedroom holding onto his hat in her arms. I wish I could make things better for her and Jack. I sat on the bed, "Lily, everything's going to be alright, I promise"
I could tell she was trying to hold back tears "But Mark, what if we lose him?"
"Lily, we are not going to lose Jack, he is a the bravest man I know, he'll get through it, if you want to we can go see him tomorrow"

"Yea, I think I'd like that" she said sitting up and giving me a hug. Lily is a sweet girl, she doesn't deserve this.
