*Toba's P.O.V*
I sat in the library of the Phantomhive Estate. I was currently reading Romeo and Juliet, one of Shakespeare's greatest and most well-known works. I know the book may sound girl and such, but, hey, I actually saw one of his plays and it was nothing girly at all! I'm surprised Queen Elizabeth I was allowed to see such a thing! A young lady shouldn't experience such... dramas.
Well, anyway, I was sitting in one of the very comfortable chairs reading a great book, when Finny came rushing in. I glanced over at him and nearly spat out the great Earl Grey Tea I was calmly drinking. He was wearing a frilly blue dress, not that I can complain, but this was Finny we were talking about here. I mean, I'm pretty sure he doesn't crossdress much.
"What are you wearing?" I asked.
"E... E... Elizabeth!" exclaimed Finny as he gasped for air.
"Who?" I asked.
"She's come... to... visit... run... save yourself... before... she get's you... like Sebastian and... everyone else," said Finny as he sat down and began to doze off.
I sighed and was about to go and look for Sebastian or Ciel when a blonde haired girl had suddenly barged into the library.
"Hello," I said as I smiled.
The girl squealed and said, "He's adorable!"
She then held out a white and silver ribboned dress.
"Um..." I said trying to distance myself from the female.
"I just want you to put this on, please," said the girl.
I sighed and then shrugged. "Sure," I said as I took the dress and went to put it on.
The girl looked at me in shock and said, "You sure?"
"I'm okay with it," I said. "Besides, it's not worth making a big deal. It's just another piece of clothing to wear."
The girl smiled and nodded her head in approval.
In a matter of minutes, I was fitted into my second frilly outfit of the week. I walked down the corridor stairs with Elizabeth as she talked about how much she loved Ciel. She really liked him, however, I feel that if someone that could understand her better came along, she would leave Ciel behind. I know it sounds pessimistic, but she is basing her love off of the fact that she grew up with him and has been told that she will marry Ciel her whole life. Not saying that's the only thing it's based off of, but, well...
"Lady Elizabeth got you, too, Toba-kun," said Mey-Rin as she chuckled.
"Toba-kun actually didn't mind wearing it all that much," said Elizabeth as she giggled.
"Oh, really," said Mey-Rin as she grinned.
"Dresses are actually quite comfortable pieces of clothing," I said as I twirled around.
"And you look really cute in them, Toba-kun," said Mey-Rin.
"You think?" I asked.
"Yes," said Sebastian as he chuckled.
I turned around and smiled. "Nice bonnet, Seba-kun."
Sebastian's right eye twitched. "Thank you, Toba-kun," he said as he pat me on my head.
I frowned and then smacked his hand away. "Where's Ciel?"
"He should be down any minute now, Sir Toba-chan," said Sebastian as he chuckled.
I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.
Ciel then came downstairs and I couldn't help but chuckle. He was wearing shoes that seemed to purposely make him taller by at least 4 inches, a humongous bowtie, a cute little penguin tux, and a small tophat to top it all off.
"What?" he growled at me.
"Nothing," I said as I snorted while trying my hardest to hold in my laughter.
"It's not funny," Ciel said as he glared.
The glare only made me want to laugh harder. "I know."
"Then stop."
"Give me a sec."
Ciel glared harder. "Shut it."
I couldn't contain my laughter any more. It was just too hilarious! The grand Earl Phantomhive wearing an even grander bowtie! HAHAHA! I know I have no say in the matter because I am indeed wearing a dress and am a man, but... At least, I'm way more comfortable than him!
"I wish you would have been eaten by a demon," Ciel hissed as he stormed away with a bright red stop light face.
"Ciel," said Elizabeth as she rushed after him.
"That was pretty rude of you,Toba-kun," said Mey-Rin as she sweatdropped.
I sighed after I calmed down. "I know..." I then muttered. In all honesty, despite being part demon, I did feel bad for laughing at him the way I did. I mean, he didn't laugh at me, and he had seen me in a maid outfit! Actually, knowing him, he probably would have sent me a side glance telling me that I looked nice.
I then decided to go up to his room and apologize. When I reached Ciel's room, I found Elizabeth trying to call Ciel out as if he were a cat stuck in a tree.
"Come on Ciel," Elizabeth said. "It's okay."
"I'll talk to him," I told Elizabeth as she sighed.
Elizabeth then left and before she turned the corner she said, "You can do it, Toba-kun!"
I then smiled and nodded my head.
I took a deep breath and knocked on Ciel's bedroom door. "Um... Ciel," I said. "Can you open the door?"
"Why should I?" he spat. "So, you can laugh at me again?"
I sighed. "I really didn't mean any harm. I just... well..."
The door then swung open. "Well...?" said Ciel.
"I'm sorry," I said. "I don't have a real reason as to why I was so rude, but I do want you to know that I am sorry."
Ciel sighed. "It's okay. I don't know why I made such a big deal out of it anyway... That was really... uncharacteristic of me."
"So, we okay?" I asked as I tilted my head.
"Sure," said Ciel. "However..."
"However?"
"You owe me a dance, Toba-chan."
I furrowed my eyebrows together and sighed for what felt like the millionth time. I then smiled and said, "I would be happy to Bocchan."
Ciel smirked and said, "Let's go then."
I linked my arm with his. Then something hit me. "What about Elizabeth-chan?"
Ciel's eye twitched and then he sighed. "I guess, our dance can wait."
I smiled at Ciel.
"What?" he asked.
I then did something that even surprised myself. I kissed him on the cheek. I then blushed twice as hard as Ciel had at that moment.
"Um-" I interrupted Ciel by rushing down the hall. "Don't want to keep Lady Elizabeth waiting!" I cheered. "She is your bride to be and all, give or take a few years from now."
Ciel then nodded and followed me.
