Chapter 21: Confessions

*Toba's P.O.V*

I sat with a smug look on my face.

"What?" grumbled Ciel as he sat at his desk working on a whole bunch of stuff.

"Nothing," I chirped as my cat ears and flicking lazily about cat tail appeared.

"Go ahead and say it," muttered Ciel as he worked.

"What?" I questioned. "That you have work and I don't? I would never say that Ciel-kun! I'm too mature for such mediocre forms of... Well, stupidity."

Ciel shot a glare at me and sighed. "You really are the worst..."

"How come?" I asked as a Cheshire grin found its way onto my face.

"Why can't you just say something about the situation I'm in and get it over with!" exclaimed the boy as he stood abruptly.

I giggled. "Pay back's a b*ch," was all I said as Ciel grumbled his own curse.

"You really are just," Ciel grumbled as he sighed.

I smiled. I then decided to take a cat nap... (Toba: Pun totally intended. Author: ... How did you know?!)

I was having a strange dream... 

I sat in a dimly lit room. Only one candle was one the cherry wood desk. I looked around the room and noticed that the room was filled with books and random paintings.

"Am I in a library?" I asked myself as I sat in my chair.

"They will hurt you," muttered a voice that sent uncomfortable shivers down my spine.

"What?" I asked.

"Death will meet the one you love," whispered the voice.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Nothing but a blob of blackness," said the voice. "The demon will feel pain and the boy... Oh, the poor boy... He'll die."

"What are you talking about?!" I yelled.

The voice only chuckled and said, "You'll see... You'll see young one."

I then awoke to see Ciel's face extremely close to mine.

"What are you doing?" I asked as I shot up.

"I was..." said Ciel as he trailed of.

"Were you going to kiss me?" I asked as I looked at Ciel suspicious.

"I..." said Ciel as he blushed.

I sighed. "Ciel, you need to do your work..."

Ciel blinked at me a few times. He then was rolling on the floor laughing. (ROFL)

I blinked as I looked at him in shock.

He continued to laugh and then said, "You... really... are just..."

I looked at him confused.

Ciel then stood up and said, "Normally people would hit someone for something like that, but you automatically went to worrying about my work and such..."

I blushed. "Well, I just... I worry okay!"

"I know, but," said Ciel. "What demon worries about others?"

I blushed even more and pouted. "It's not my fault..."

Ciel then smiled at me and muttered a "I really do love you."

I froze and so did Ciel.

"W-w-what?" I asked as I looked at him in shock.

Ciel blushed fuirously and said, "Did I just?"

I nodded my head.

"Really?"

I nodded yet again.

"Oh..." muttered Ciel as he looked down.

I blushed even more, if possible, and looked down as well.

"So," said Ciel as he made a little cough. "What's your answer?"

"I'll have to think about it," I said.

Ciel nodded.

I then walked out of the room. I hadn't expected that! I mean, really... It's... It's way to sudden.

I kept walking until I bumped into something... Or someone.

"You look as if you've just seen a ghost," said Sebastian as he looked down at me and chuckled.

"Do I really?" I asked as I looked up at him and sighed.

"What's the matter?" asked Sebastian as he looked at me with concerned eyes.

"I..." I muttered as I blushed. "Ciel said that he loved me."

Sebastian looked at me in shock. "I see..."

"What should I do?" I asked Sebastian as I looked at him.

"Do you love him?" asked Sebastian.

"I don't know... I don't know at all," I said with a sigh. "The last time I was in love... Well... You saw."

"Well," said Sebastian as he smiled at me. "I'm going to make this more complicated for you."

"What?"

"I love you as well," whispered Sebastian as he blew in my ear.

I jumped and looked at him in shock. "B-b-but!"

"You'll think about it, yes?" he asked as he smiled at me.

I blushed and nodded.

I then left the scene again.

What was I going to do?!
