Amy’s P.O.V.
I hear a knock on the wall so I turn around and see dad.
“Is this the room you want?” Dad asks me.
I nod my head. “Yes it is.” I tell him.
He tells me to write my name on the paper and then after I write my name, he takes the paper and he takes a piece of tape and tapes it to the door. We head downstairs and we began grabbing boxes and taking them where they belonged. I made sure to get some of the boxes that I didn’t want others touching.
Soon we had half of the boxes inside the house. It began raining and dad forced me to stay inside even though I wanted to help out more. Dad told me to head up to my room and get my bed made, so that’s what I began doing. I finished making my bed and then I heard a knock on the door.
I turn around. “Max, can you help me out?” I ask.
He places the boxes that he was carrying on the floor. “What do you need?” He asks me.
I tell him that I need help putting the blinds up.
“Alright and I’ll get your curtains up too.” Max tells me.
I say my thanks and then I walk over to the two boxes and I looked at the boxes to see what was written on them. They both said clothing so I grabbed the box cutter and I began opening the box.
“Don’t hurt yourself using that.” Max tells me.
I roll my eyes. “I’m not going too.” I tell him.
I take the box cutter to the box and open it up. “I cut myself!” I yell out.
Max drops the blinds and he runs over to me.
“Just kidding!” I tell him.
Max glares at me, grabs my hands and inspects them.
“Damn it Amy.” He says.
He drops my hands, stands up, walks over to my blinds and he gets them put up. After the curtains got put up, Max began to walk out of my room.
“Max, wait!” I yell out.
He stops at the doorway.
“I’m sorry Max.” I tell him.
He turns around. “You really scared me.” He tells me.
I wrap my arms around him and hug him tightly. “I’m really sorry.” I tell him.
I feel his arms wrap around me. “Just don’t do it again please.” He tells me.
We let go of each other and I look up at him. “Is it still raining?” I ask.
He nods his head. “And besides, even if it wasn’t raining, dad wouldn’t let you help anyways.” He tells me.
I knew Max was telling the truth. “Alright, I’ll continue working on my room.” I say.
Max grins, kisses the top of my head and then he leaves the room heading downstairs. I turn my attention to the boxes; I decided to unpack all of my clothing so I began opening the boxes that had clothing written on them. After all the boxes were opened, I began to put everything that went into my dresser and then I hear somebody come upstairs.
“Hey Amy.” I hear Alex say.
I turn around to see him carrying my laundry basket with my hanger in it. He places it on the floor.
“I got you some candy.” He says pulling a bag out of the basket.
I smile at him. “Thanks.” I tell him.
He pulls a handful of candy and places it on the dresser. He leaves then so I went to the basket and pulled out all the hangers and placed them on the bed. I walked over to the dresser and picked up some of the candy. I ate a piece and put more of my clothes in the dresser.
Soon, I had all of my boxes in my room.
“Amy can you come down here, please!” I hear dad yell out.
I place my shirt back on the bed and head downstairs to see what dad wanted.
“Yeah dad?” I ask when I go on the last step.
