I Sketched My Mate? WTF? Chapter 22

Amy’s P.O.V.

I got out of the bathroom and then I placed my pajamas on the bed. I sat on the bed beside Matt.

“So what did you want to do?” Matt asks.

I shrug my shoulders. “I don’t know.” I say.

“How about we go out?” He asks.

“Where?” I ask.

“Park, mall, or hang out with me at my house?” He asks.

“How about all three?” I ask.

“Sure! Want to go now?” He asks.

I nod my head so I walk towards my dresser, open it and then I grab a pair of socks. I put them on and then I grab my shoes and put them on.

Matt and I head downstairs.

“Amy, can I talk to you?” I hear dad say.

I walk over to dad.

“I won’t be home when you get back.” Dad says.

“Why where are you going?” I ask.

“Business meeting. I won’t be coming back home until sometime next week so Max is in charge.” Dad says.

I nod my head. “When are you leaving?” I ask.

“Today. I have to finish packing.” Dad tells me.

I hug him tightly and he hugs me back.

“Matt, I want my daughter back by ten.” Dad says.

“Yes sir.” Matt replies.

Dad leaves then and Matt grabs my hand and we head outside. We get into the car and we drive off to the park. We got out and we decided to take a walk around the park.

After the park we decided to head back to his house so we got back in the car and he drives off. We arrived at his house and we got out and went inside.

“Hi Amy.” Scott says.

I smile. “Hi Scott.” I say.

Matt grabs my hand and we head upstairs. We got on his bed and we stared at each other. I wanted…no, I needed to tell Matt something now before I chickened out.

“Matt…I need to tell you something.” I say.

“Yes Amy?” He asks.

“I love you.” I whisper.

Matt looks at me with a confused look on his face. “What was that?” He asks.

“I love you.” I repeat, a little louder.

Matt smiles. “I love you too and I mean it too. I could never imagine my life without you.” He says.

I gasp. “You mean that?” I ask.

Matt nods his head. “I mean every word Amy.” He says.

I crawl towards him and I sit on his lap. I lay my head on his chest and I feel him stroke my hair.

“So Amy, I was wondering if you wanted to go out on a date with me tomorrow.” He asks.

“Sure! Where are we going?” I ask.

“I got reservations at a restaurant already and it’s a fancy one.” He says.

“Okay, I know what dress to wear.” I say.

Matt chuckles. “I can’t wait to see in a dress.” He says.

I giggle at that.

“Do you want to do something?” He asks.

“Like what?” I question.

“Watch batman?” He asks.

I nod my head so I slowly got off of his lap and then he heads over to his movie collection and he pulls out, ‘The Dark Knight’ and he puts it in the DVD player. He gets back on the bed and I get back on his lap and we began watching the movie.
