Amy’s P.O.V.

“To question this filth.” Scott says.

“But I don’t want to leave Amy alone.” Matt says.

“Matt I’ll be fine.” I say to him.

“I’ll get Miles and Andy to stay here.” Scott says.

I get up off of Matt’s lap and then he stands up and he kisses me gently.

“I’ll see you later. I love you.” Matt says.

“I love you too.” I say.

Scott, Brian and Matt head over to the unconscious vampire and then they pick him up and carry him out the door. I see Miles and Andy come in and then they shut the door.

“Amy!” Miles and Andy both yell out.

I laugh at that. “Come here you two.” I say.

“Can we get a hug?” Miles asks.

“Which one is older?” I ask.

“I am.” Miles says.

Miles and I hug and then I hug Andy. All three of us sit down. Josh, Brian and Grace’s son, got off the couch and he began walking around. Heather sits down.

“So why are we here?” Miles asks.

“They guys are questioning a vampire.” Heather says.

“I’m going to go outside. I need to call my dad.” I say.

I got up and began to walk to the door.

“Amy wait!” Miles yells out.

I turn around.

“Matt would be pissed if he knew you’re going outside alone so I’m coming with.” Miles tells me.

I nod my head and then we both went outside and it was cold.

“I’m going to go back in and get my jacket.” I say.

Miles follows me back inside and we head to mine and Matt’s bedroom. I grabbed Matt’s jacket, put it on and then Miles and I walked through the house and outside. I pulled out my phone and called my dad.

“Amy?” Dad questions.

“Hey dad, how’s everything?” I ask.

“Not good.” Dad says.

Before I could talk, I could barely hear Max talking.

“Max wants to know if he can talk to you.” Dad says.

I sit down on the steps. “Yeah, I’ll talk to him.” I reply.

I hear the phone being passed over.

“Amy I am so sorry about what I said. I don’t hate you and I hope you can forgive me.” Max pleads.

“I can never stay mad at you. I forgive you. Are you at home?” I say.

“Thank you Amy. And to answer your question, were in the hospital because I’m refusing to eat.” Max says.

“What?! I’ll come over and visit you. As soon as you get out and your feeling better, we’ll hang out.” I tell him.

“Really? Just the two of us?” Max asks.

“Yeah just the two of us.” I reply.

We talked for a bit longer but then I had to hang up because I saw the guys coming back. I got up and ran over to Matt.

“What’s wrong?” He questions.

“Max is in the hospital. Can we go see him?” I ask.

“Who’s Max?” Brian asks.

“My brother.” I tell him.

“Go Matt.” Scott says.

Matt and I head towards the car, we got in and then he drove off heading towards the hospital. We got there and then we went inside to the front desk and I told the lady that I need to see my brother. I told her his name and then she told me the number.
