I woke up feeling groggy the next morning. Well, it's not surprising since I was already in a bad mood before I fell asleep last night.
I don't know what happened to DJ. I know that he's usually like that at times but I don't wanna tolerate it anymore. It's too much already. He has to know when to reign his hot temper and when it should not.
I have no schedule today since it's my rest day. I remembered that this should be the day that DJ and I would spend the whole day together. But because of what happened, I doubt that the plan would still push through. I sighed from that thought.
I stood up from the bed and walked towards the bathroom to wash my face. I went in front of my dresser and comb my hair. It's a daily routine. I don't wanna go out of my room with morning glory and a bird's nest. I don't want to embarrass myself more.
The last time I went out without even looking myself in the mirror first, was when my friends from showbiz payed me a surprise visit. At 8am in the morning! They were bored and asked me to go to an outing with them. I almost kicked them outside of our house because of embarrassment. I have messy hair and a slight dried drool in my face. And I was still wearing my Lilo and Stitch pajamas for crying out loud! And mind you that I'm a 17-year old girl!
When I entered the dining room, I saw Ate Tin feeding Lhexine with a banana and my brother shoving inside his mouth everything what's on his plate. Yuck! That's him when he's not around other people. I shook my head unbelievably.
"Hi ugly!" He said with his mouth full.
"Ew! Kuya! Where's your manners? What are you? Five?" I grimaced.
"Ew! Kuya!" He mimicked me and made a face.
"Ugly and annoying." I rolled my eyes at him.
"You're uglier." He replied and drank his orange juice.
"You're ug--"
"You're ugliest!" He cut me off.
I sat beside him and punched his arm.
"Stop that. Kathryn eat." Ate Tin scolded.
My brother grinned at me and I gave him a death glare.
We might grow old, but some things never changed. We're still like cat and dog. We love to annoy each other. And our endearment will forever what it is I guess. We still call each other, 'ugly'.
"Where's mom?" I queried while putting some bacon and hotdog in my plate.
"At her friend's house. Girl bonding." Ate Tin answered as she wipes Lhexine's mouth.
Lhexine keeps on blabbering some incoherent words.
"What is it baby? You want some hotdog, huh?" I cooed her.
She giggled and raised her hand at me.
I put my hotdog on my fork and moved it towards her mouth. She avoided it.
"You don't want hotdog? What do you want baby girl?" I kept on baby talking her.
"She wants you to carry her." Ate Tin said.
"Oh." I smiled at Lhexine and pulled her up.
I put her in my lap. "You missed Tita, huh Lhexine?" I kissed her cheeks and poked her tummy. She just kept on giggling.
