Game Day
I sit on the bench after practice in the packed locker room filled with volleyball players and cheerleaders. All getting ready for the game tonight.
"Mary.? Your gonna get ready?" Jen ask as she places her uniform on and points around.
I shrug and get up.
"Ally!" I yell. She runs and looks at me. "What?" She ask. I sigh. "Can you pretty please hand me your ace wrap?" I ask. She nods and walks to her locker.
"Catch!" She throws it and it sprawls everywhere. I mumble curse words and grab it. I wrap it around my ankle that I hurt at practice. I find my locker and grab the jeans from school. I slip those on and keep my practice shirt on. I take my hair out of its bun and let the loose waves free. They bounce and I brush them. I reapply my mascara and grab my shoes from earlier and slip those on.
"Ready?" Ally ask next to me. I nod and shut my locker. "I am gonna come back to get my duffle bag and book bag." I say as we walk to the gym to exit. She nods and we have small talk when we head to the football field that is packed.
During the whole game I have just been watching the cheerleaders and the people around them. I was bored until Ally started to scream in my ear.
"What!" I yell. She smiles and points to the cheerleaders with gun looking like things.
"What the hell-" A shirt flies towards me and Ally and she snatches it and smiles.
"Free shirt!!" She smiled. I shake my head while laughing and see the football players on the bench looking around. I notice one of the boys...Cory.
He catches my glare and smiles.
He mouths something and I tilt my head confused. He motions me to come to him.
I look at Ally.
"I-I will be right back!" I say and run down the one step and to the boundary where they keep fans away from the players.
"Cory!" I yell. He turns around and smiles. He comes up to me.
"What did you want?" I ask as he stands in front of me. He thinks then nods.
"Get me some chicken." He says. I roll my eyes and began to walk away.
"Wait!" He yells. I stop. "What?"
"With gatorade!" He winks and turns around to the game.
I go to the food thing and get chicken and gatorade.
I walk back to Cory and he smiles.
"Naha. The chickens mine...your in a game...but take the gatorade." I say. He sighs. "Thank You!" He winks and snaps his head when the crowd cheers.
"TOUCHDOWWNN!" He yells. A football player comes up to Cory and takes his helmet off. In the hottest way possible. It was the boy who sat next to me on the couch yesterday. Cody I believe. He flips his little quiff and take the gatorade that I bought Cory.
"Aye! Get your own." Cory says. He licks his lips and looks at me.
"Aye...please?" Cody says. I sigh.
"I will pay you back..." He says. He was sweaty and tired. I nod. I walk away and get his gatorade.
When I come back he sat in the bench and smiles taking the gatorade.
"Thankyou...so much." He gently sips it looking at the game.
"Nice touchdown man..." Joey comes up to Cody. I smile when Joey looks at me.
