Weeks past, months past, time flies...

Tears dropped, thoughts clog minds...

Text have never been sent.

Phone calls, no.

Emails, no.

No responses.

Everyone is worried, about him.

His season doesn't start till next year when he will be in college.

We all tried to contact him but no answer. He never even texts us...nor calls us.

"Mary...its okay..just relax. You cant stop being happy because he wont answer you or your friends." My mom says at the dinner table. I look up at her.

"Its been six months mom." I say. She sighs.

"Okay, but-"

"Mom. I am happy...its just...heuhh." I put my fork down and get up. I wash my dish and then clean the others.

"I am gonna be back soon." I say. My mom stops me.

"Where you going?" She ask.

"Somewhere where I can get happy, I will be okay." I say, I hug her and then walk outside.

I hop into my car and drive to the field.

----------

I sat on the top and looked as the sun went down and the moon came up.

I cross my arms and stare at the field.

'Touchdown! Touchdown! Cody Lower, A high school freshman as his position running back. This kid is blazing fast. And this was his fourth touchdown of the game today! Incredible job...' The intercom played in my head of my first game I watched.

I smiled and looked at the other end of the field.

'Amazing play by the sophomore, Cody Lower. His first touchdown was made in freshman year in the first quarter. Not even after ten seconds of the game.' The intercom played again. I shrugged and looked down.

"Pst..." I hear. I lift my head and see no one. "Pst!" I hear again. "Over here." A female voice says. I look behind me and look down. I saw a female shape in the shadow.

"How'd you get in?" The girl ask.

"Oh, uhm...the gate to your left." I say. She runs and sees it. She skips through the gate and runs over to bleachers near me.

She approaches me and my face drops.

I look at her and then look away. She sighs and brushes her knees.

"Look, we never had any beef. So I don't hate you." She says. I look at Rose and shrug. "I understand if I made you upset or something but I never know. I am sorry." She adds. I look at her and nod.

"So what are you doing over here?" She ask. I shrug.

"My mom says I am not happy, anymore. So I just came here...Cody use to take me." I say. Rose shifts her legs and clears her throat.

"Thats cute...when we used- is it okay if I talk about us dating?" She ask nicely.

"Oh yah, you can. I wont mind..." I say. She smiles.

"When we used to date he took me to town, we sat on the top of a abandoned building. It was pretty. But he always liked night." She says and laughs at the end. "Probably because he is a hitter." She adds. I chuckle and look down.

"So when did you guys date?" I ask. She sighs.

"Freshman year, we were just like friends then he asked me out to home coming after home coming he asked em to be his girlfriend. "She  smiles.
