I enter the grocery store near my house to just pick up a few things. Since my wife is having her time of month I figured she could use little snacks and maybe some candy. I walk and see my friend Cam. As much as I tried for him not to see me, he did. "Aye!!" He smiles as he walked up to me. "Hey man, how you doing?" I ask, grabbing his hand shaking it. He shrugs, "Good...how's your wife? Started a family yet!?" He was so curious and nosy of my wife. I hated it, and every time I told my wife about it she would smile-almost like she enjoyed hearing it. It's strange. "She is fine, thanks." I say bluntly. "Alright, I gotta go!" He sighs, "Okay nice seeing you man." I wave and continue to the candy.
I turn into the isle seeing a women, she peeks and pulls her cart closer. I go to the candy. Okay, what does Claire like as Candy. I tap my foot and then saw Sour Patch kids. I grab that and then grab a hershey bar. That should be good. I go to see if there is another type of candy, but get hit in the head, along with a faint giggle. "Ouch." I hold my head as I turn to see a baby smiling widely at me, I bite my lip and see the mother freak out.
"Oh, good ness! I am so sorry, sir." She says. The women bent down picking up what looked like a bag of candy and then put it into her cart. I slowly release the hold of my face and look at the women, her eyes staring at mine before I even looked.
The familiar eyes that I loved."Cody..." She breathed. I stare at her shocked, why was she holy!!!. "Mary, why are you here?" I ask. She pulled the cart closer to her side and looked at me. "You look, good." She says, and examines me.
"You too..." I say and felt my smirk arise, causing her to smile. "How are things? " She ask. I shrug, but continue staring at her. How is she still so beautiful, how is it?
How did I let her go...?She clears her throat, making me blush embarrassed.
"Going to NFL, my wife is at home..." I say, awkward, but she smiled. "Claire?" She ask, I nod. She looks to the baby and I do too, is that hers? It has to be.!
"She looks like you, is it yours?" I ask. She nods. "Wow, lucky man of yours..." I gulp, I hated myself for leaving her. Seeing her now, that baby could of been ours, but I left her. She looked like she was thinking, maybe what I said hurt her.
"Thanks." She mumble. I sigh and know this is ending soon. Might as well leave now before Claire thinks of anything.
"Well, I guess I will see you soon, I missed you." I frown. "Okay..." She says. I nod and softly hug her I just wanted to feel her again. Her beautiful scent, her arms, her skin, every time I think about her and when we were younger it makes me more guilty every second. I wish I could just steal her and take her with me somewhere, just spend a few weeks together, alone.
I felt a cold substance on my shirt, I heard a lite cough, she is crying."Fûck." I groan. She makes this so hard for me, now she is hugging me tighter. If I stay like this anymore I might just pick her up and kiss her. Her soft lips that were always so kissable. Her beautiful body that was natural and not fake. Her eyes that stared at me when I was talking...My feelings never changed and I want to kiss her. I felt her struggle to get out of my grip, I held on. I needed her, so bad.
"Okay. Please, Cody..." She said laughing. I chuckled and let go. I looked at her and she was crying. Now! Kiss her-my phone vibrated once, damnit! I see her look down and I sigh, "Bye Mary..." I say. She looked up and at me, "Bye Cody."
