I wait on the couch as Cody comes to pick me up.

I look at my text he sent.

'Come out, ;)' cody😊

I sigh.

'Get your lazy aśs and come knock on my door.' Mary.

'K!!' cody😊

The door receives a knock and I smile. I open the door and Cody looks up and pushes his lips in then his mouth flies open. He licks his lips and walks to me.

He grabs my face and kisses a soft kiss on my cheek. I blush and he grabs my hand. We walk to his car and head to the restaurant.

I sit in the car waiting, as Cody texts someone.

We were parked in front if the restaurant...

"Cody? Can you hurry...my stomach is growling." I say softly. He nods still texting. I cross my arms and sigh.

I sneak a glance acting like I am looking around but my eyes land on a name on the top of the text 'Rose'.

I look at him as he texts seriously smirking a few times. I look ahead and see Jen and Joey entering, fast like they are late.

I push my door open and step out. I slam it and walk towards the entrance.

"Mary!" Cody yells. I turn around.

"Where you going? Hold on..." He yells, gathering his stuff.

"No! I have been waiting...but you were too busy texting Rose...so let's go!" I say nicely and walk into the restaurant along with a out of breath Cody behind me.

"Mary I wasn't texting-"

"Shut up, and don't lie to me...I am not stupid." I mumble and walk to the waiter at the front. I tell her the party name and she takes me to the table.

"Oh my!!!" Jen smiles at me. I smile softly and sit across from her. Joey grins at me then turns his head to Cody.

"She looks gorgeous, Cody." Jen says. Joey nods agreeing. I look down the table seeing other football players and their couples.

"So where did you get that dress?" Jen smirks. I laugh fake and shrug.

Jen stares at me for a minute and I gesture my head at Cody who has his head down texting.

Jen elbows Joey and Joey pops to look at Jen.

Jen clears her throat looking and pointing at Cody. Joey sighs.

"Cody? Are you gonna enjoy dinner or just text who ever it is...because you have a girl next to you if you want to talk to someone...?" Joey says taking a sip from his cup.

Cody looks up and tucks his phone in his pocket. He looks around and lands on Joey.

"Sorry, my friend keeps-"

"Oh bull shît, its Rose." Jen says. Cody laughs.

"Why do you guys get so mad, that I talk to her?" He says. I look down.

"Well man, Mary is over here...with you, a lot." Joey says. Cody looks at me. He bends to my ear.

"Sorry...Mary..." He whispers into my ear. He lifts away and grabs my thigh.

"Hey guys!!!!!" I hear Cory's voice. My head lifted and I smile.

Cory is always perfect timing.

"Hey!" We all say. Rihanna smiled to me and Jen.

"Ima sit here baby." She said to Cory. She sat next to Cory as he sat next to Jen.
