Game Day; FRIDAY.
I walk into the gym as the boys exit.
I see Cory and wave him down to me.
"Woahh, wheres your clothes?" He smirks. I shrug.
"Is Cody around?" I ask. He looks at me then around confused.
"Bu-but he said y-you..."
"What!?" I look at him.
"He is with Rose." He says. I nod slowly.
"Cool...what about the game.?" I ask. He laughs.
"He is behind the bleachers..." He says. I look at him and roll my eyes. I walk to the field fastly.
"Mary!"
"Shhh!" I look at him.
"What? Shh...no they cant hear impossible. There is like one hundred people here?" Cory laughs.
"We are gonna bust em." I grin getting closer.
"Okay!" Cory runs to the bench and places his helmet. He runs back and we walk to the bleachers. We sneak behind and see its pitch black.
"This way, he takes the girls over here." Cory grabs my hand fast but gently. We walk in the darkness till we reach a abandoned shack.
I squint to see Cory smirking. We lean our ears against it.
"Yeah um..." I pull away trying not to laugh. Cory bangs on the other side and He pulls me to a corner. I laugh as we hear thumbs and movement trying to see.
"Cody! Turn the fûcking light on!" We hear.
"Looks like they cant see." Cory whispers. I nod.
"Hello!?" Cody yells softly. He looks around.
"Shhh." Cory says into my ear. Cody stops where we are. My eyes wide as he pulls his phone out.
"Cody! Quick! Come here!!!" Rose yells. Cody turns and runs.
"He is in his boxers." I say. I suddenly feel jealously. I scoff and get up. Cory and me run away and soon come out to the field.
We just sat and talked waiting for everyone to come.
"I will get the waters set up." I hear. I get up and see Rose with Cody.
"No, its fine. Its my job." I say. She looks at me and rolls her eyes.
"Then do it." She says getting closer. I glance at Cody who watches. Cory comes running over and pulls me away.
"Damn, Cody you could've at least done something." Cory snaps. Cody scoffs.
"I did her." He points to Rose.
"Other than a whôre, seriously. You have a game. Why don't you actually act like you wanna play tonight instead of messing with a girl who had sèx with all the teams favorite player." Cory snaps again and walks me away. Rose gasp and Cody hugs Rose.
I glance at Cody and see him looking at me, mixed emotions.
"Cory...I am just gonna go home." I pat his chest as he hugs me gently. He looks at me.
"You sure?" He ask. I nod. "Rihanna can drive you?"
"No, my cars here, thanks though." I smile and walk slowly.
I finally reach the parking lot and see my car.
"Mary!?" I turn around. I see a helmet in the hand of a boy running up to me.
"Why aren't you staying...?" Joey ask. I sigh.
"Joey, I am sorry but I cant be your teams water girl, Rose has it all controlled...and I am just gonna head home because I-I don't feel good." I gulp. Joey looks at the lights from the field.
"Cody is being an aśs because you two broke up." Joey say leaning against the car next to mine.
"We never were anything so..." I wipe my eyes from tired ness.
"To him you guys were...he said he will just forget about you...so he went to Rose." Joey sighs. I nod.
"Well thats him now, he can do what ever because obviously he doesn't need me." I say to him. Joey bites his lip frustrated.
"Okay, well don't be upset Mary...your like my little sister okay! If he hurts you, I hurt him." He smiles. I smile.
"Thank you...uh good luck tonight." I hug him. He lets go and nods.
"Bye Mary! I better see a happy you Monday!" He winks and runs off. I wave and jump inside my car.
When I enter I just rest my head on the steeling wheel. I sigh and cry.
"I should of known I wasn't his type and shît..." I whisper to myself. I look at the field lights. I start my car and drive home.
