------------------------------------
"Yumi! Are you finished with packing your things?" I hear my Mother call to me from downstairs.
"Yes Mom! I'm coming down now!" I yell back. This past month hasn't been the greatest for me. My mother's job got moved to Japan; not sure how that happened. But she doesn't want me to come with her because she says that It would be to much of an adjustment for me to make. I do agree with her though, but I don't want to be separated from my mother!
So I begged my Mother to let me come with her. After weeks of poking and prauding, I got her to say yes! But since she will be moving around so much, I have to live with my Grandma.
.
Now, you may be wondering: "Why can't you just go and live with your Dad?" Well, his job has been in Japan for 3 months now. It's a miracle, that my parents have stayed in america this long! Well, I can't do much about it now.
"Yumi, you can't get yourself down about this." A voice cries in my head.
"I know, but what can I do?"
"You can make the best of this experience. Your moving from America to Japan. You get to live at your Grandmother's place, not to mention she owns a bakery!"The voice says
"You have a lot of good points. Maybe this won't be so bad." I say
"That's the spirit! Now finish packing and get downstairs!" The voice says as it dissipates into the far regions of my mind.
I have been hearing this voice ever since I Solved this bracelet-puzzle thing that my Grandmother sent me. It came to me in a box with a cool looking eye on the front of it and ancient-Egyptian Hieroglyphics carved on the front. It was color of Gold and it had a strange vibe to it. My Grandmother had given me a note when she sent the box in the mail, but I don't exactly remember what it said. Solving this bracelet was a journey and a half to say the least. It took me years to put the bracelet together. I tried to put it together just using my hands, but it wasn't enough....
(Flash back one month ago)
"Ugh, I give up!" I yell to the puzzle box. "It just doesn't make sense," I grab the note and begin to read it,"The note grandma sent me says the only way to solve the puzzle is to put all of your spirit into solving it. But what the hell does that mean!"
I look over to a picture of my old Martial Arts teacher. He was so strong, yet so friendly at the same time. My teachers name was Goku and he taught me more than just Martial Arts. He taught me to never give up even when the situation seemed at its worst. Goku also was one of my closest friends, as well as his son Gohan. I never had many friends at school, I was mostly bullied by the older kids because of my height.
I told Goku about this many times about how I was bullied because I was so short. i remember him saying he couldn't do much about the bullying, but he knew a way that would make me feel as tall as the clouds. Goku taught me how to fly using my Spirit Energy, it was the most amazing thing! To be able to touch the clouds and not have a care in the world. Goku taught me other things that I could do with my Spirit Energy...Wait! That's it!
I grabbed the note and read through it again. "Of course, How could I have not noticed this before! To solve the puzzle, I have to use my Spirit Energy to put the pieces of the puzzle together!"
I concentrate my energy over the rod-shaped pieces. The pieces begin to glow a light blue and move. "Yes, I think it's working!" I could see the pieces begin to connect. "I am finally going to find out what this puzzle looks like!" The last of the pieces began to connect. It's a bracelet!
