DaY 5: The Song Day

Hannahs POV

Harry drives me to the music studio to help the guys write some songs for their new album. The drive was quick and silent. It is 5 in the morning and I rolled out of bed and got into the car. My hair in a nest and my huge shirt on with some plaid shorts on. I really didn't want to get all ready for a full day in the music studio, you crazy?

We pull into the parking lot, entering the large building. Harry is wearing a sweatshirt and some sweats, even though its 100 degrees here in California. 

We walk into a room with a bunch of chairs and stacks of paper and a bucket pull of pens. This is how they write songs? Sounds good to me!

"Hey lads!" Harry says in an exciting, sarcastic way. I wave and take a seat next to Harry and Liam. Niall is sitting across the room, on a bean-bag on the floor. We don't make eye contact. 

"So, this is for our new album! We need to have our first single out while on tour, so we need to write one today. We need to be recording this song by 7 tonight. So, we have..." Louis looks down at his imaginary watch and looks back up.

"All day to write an amazing single! Lets get started!" Louis grabs a pen from the bucket, in the center of the table. The rest of the boys brain storm some ideas. Girls and having fun with the guys was mentioned a lot in the conversation. I just stayed back and watched in amazement in how they write.

Liam writes on the board the ideas and titles, Niall plays some cords on his guitar, Zayn picks out the chours, Harry says who would sing which verse in the songs and Louis writes down whatever comes into his head. 

"Okay, so some of the choices are....

1. Dont take my heart away

2. Leave me be

3. Best song ever

4. Dont Stay

5. Not today"

He takes a look to Zayn, standing up and reading what he has for some of the words.

"So, for Dont take my heart away I have, 'Baby you looked at me, I couldn't see, that you were standing at the bay, please Dont take my heart away' I think some of that could be changed but thats that song. 

For Leave me be, I wrote down "You can't take it back, I can't even see, without you here with me, Just Leave me be' That very could be changed.

For Best song ever, I think this could be like a party, up beat, happy song. 'And we danced all night to the best song ever, we knew every line, now I can't remember how it goes but I know, that I won't forget her cause we danced all night to the best song ever' 

Dont Stay is more of a sad, go away title so I came up with this, 'I don't want you here, I love you to much to see you. I can't believe I let you astray, please baby, Dont Stay' sad, i know.

This last song is more of a song I heard from Twenty One Pilots, but I came up with a different chours.

'Baby, Ive heard you don't care, I know you never loved me. You think you can just play me, no, Not today' 

But personally, my favorite is Best Song Ever. It has a catchy ring to it. What do you guys think?" 

Harry, Niall, me, Louis and Zayn raise their hands up for yes. Liam doesn't.

"I think this album should be awesome. Maybe if we wrote the whole song Ill love it" We all nod, as they all take a seat and listen to Niall play the cords. 

I watch Niall and his hands, moving side to side on the guitar neck. He plays so wonderfully, and perfect. His fingers go right to the spot he wants them to and he strums the other strings with his finger, not playing to loud. I watch him in amazement. I want to learn how to play like Niall.
