Trinkets and treasures {Short based during and after Battle of Hogwarts chapter)

Fred loved to surprise Anertha. Mainly with little trinkets. She always accepted them gratefully, even if she felt she didn't deserve them. Fred felt differently. In their early years he couldn't afford to buy her anything and this upset him. 'What I am I meant to give her for her birthday if I can't afford anything decent?' Fred moaned disheartened to his brother George. George looked blankly at him, he had no idea how to respond, he knew nothing about women. 'Ummm....make her something?' He replied unsure. Fred's face lit up. Of course! 'George you are a genius!' This began a tradition of sorts for Fred and Anertha. Fred made her necklaces and bracelets for birthdays and Christmases from then on. The first necklace he ever made for her was made from string and glass. The glass pendent was charmed to changed colours depending on what mood she was in. She wore it for as long as he could remember, until one day when she decided to keep it safe and placed inside a box that contained all the treasures he had made her. Now though, Fred didn't have to make these trinkets; they had begun making good money with their joke shop. Fred thought it was now time she had something worth keeping in his eyes. 'Anertha!' Fred called down from the office after the shop had closed. 'What?' His partner called up to him. 'Can you come up here for a sec?' Anertha took a while to answer. 'Not really! I'm cashing up. Can it wait?' Fred sighed and walked down to meet her instead. 'I'll come to you then.' He smiled. 'What's behind your back?' Anertha looked at him suspiciously. George did the same thing yesterday and it turned out to be a new trick spray he had invented, it turned Anertha green, neither her nor Fred were impressed by that act. 'Oh this?' Fred said as he revealed the long box he had been hiding, or attempting to hide. 'This is for you.' He looked excitedly as she took the box. She looked at him with a soft gaze and smiled as she opened it. Her mouth fell open. 'Fred....This is...beautiful.' She threw her arms around him, a tear forming in her eye. She loved him so much, he never stopped amazing her. Fred took the box and took out the new necklace he had bought her; he placed it lovingly around Anertha's neck. He took a step back and admired it. 'Take a look.' He said as he passed her a mirror. She took the mirror and looked into it. The necklace fit perfectly around her neck, the heart shaped pendent glowed red. As she looked closer she noticed Fred's face floating in the middle, she grinned. 'That will stay alight for as long as I am alive and well.' Fred whispered behind her. Come the battle a couple of years later Anertha wore her heart necklace, not only that she retrieved her first ever necklace from Fred out of the box she had put it in, it was too small for her now, so she replaced the string with a band and placed the glass charm upon it, her now bracelet shone black as she was scared for her and Fred. They were the last pieces of jewellery she would ever wear. As she lay on the ground next to Fred after the battle ended, George, out of curiosity, lifted the heart pendent from her chest; it was black and lifeless, her bracelet too was clear, no colour in sight. George's heart broke as he realised both of them really were gone from him now.
